"We started our time with Montessori gardens a few months ago. After moving my son from his previous daycare I was very worried we would never find somewhere who would accept Jack for who he is. On the first meeting (tour) I instantly knew this was the right daycare for my Son. The educators were warm, welcoming, full of smiles, and the vibe was incredibly calm and happy. I discussed my concerns with Naomi (director) regarding Jack attending daycare as he has autism. His previous daycare proved to be the wrong environment, as they wanted Jack to fit in with everyone else, and not work with Jack to support all his unique ways and needs. After talking with Naomi, I knew her centre could facilitate and support all of his needs. I was very confident with everything she said and the reassurance for his overall care and well-being whilst in their care made it that much easier for us to make the decision and enrol him. From his first day I knew we had found the perfect place for Jack. Everyday since, he gets excited to go and has never once said no when asked if he wants to go to school. He walks in confidently and calmly, which never happened at his previous daycare. We are always greeted with a smile and hello from everyone there. Overall it’s just a lovely place to be and be a part of. This shows not only in my son, but the other children attending. Any time I call, email or just pull Naomi aside for a chat regarding Jack, I am always met with her fullest attention. She has given me incredible ongoing support no matter what it relates to. Any time I need guidance or need to discuss any of Jacks issues with her I am always cared for and never pushed aside. Even when it’s visibly busy! she always makes the time for me. Not only have I seen a massive improvement in Jacks development, my family is constantly praising him and how far he has come. Since starting he has improved his speech/communication, and comprehension skills. He is independently putting jobs away, toileting, packing away his bedding, and starting to communicate and show connections to the other children. This is all because he is able to flourish and learn in a safe, kind, clean, wonderful, and happy environment. He is developing and meeting milestones earlier than I ever expected him to, and it is 100% because of the care he receives at Montessori gardens I see the impact of the level or care he receives just by how far he has come in such a short time. He has made strong connections with the educators, which is very rare for Jack and usually takes a long time to see, especially with other adults. I cannot express the appreciation and respect I have for everyone involved in making this centre an absolute joy and delight for all the children. I’ve never seen my son so happy and engaged in learning. Which was my number 1 goal with sending him to daycare. I never thought I would find somewhere who gets him for exactly who he is and celebrates every uniqueness he has. NEVER ONCE has Naomi or the educators ever labelled Jacks autism or actions as behaviour. Never once have I felt unheard or unjustified in anything I have said or want done for Jack. So many times I’ve asked for Naomi’s professional opinion and support. The wealth of knowledge she has and is willing to share to support myself and Jack is outstanding and so appreciated. If you are looking for somewhere who values children for exactly who they are, let’s their own uniqueness and abilities shine through without comparison of others, shows nurturing and respect, and goes above and beyond for the children and families, I would 1000% recommend Montessori Gardens. I honestly feel this has been and will continue to be one of the best things Jack has ever been a part of. It’s not easy working in childcare and I take my hat off to all the educators, Melissa and Naomi for running a fantastic centre. Thank you so much. "The service provided is highly skilled and caring. The staff demonstrate great compassion and attention, dignity and respect to all. You can tell the staff are passionate about what they do, putting their hearts into their work. Our 2 and 4 year old kids are thriving in the environment. We couldn't be happier with this service which is so well run. Our kids love the multiple play areas, the learning materials and the regular incursions and excursions. We are delighted to be part of the diverse Montessori preschool community."

"The most beautiful and nurturing preschool. I knew the second I walked in that the school was perfect for my son and he has attended 4 preschools preciously. The staff love their job and are passionate about educating children. Highly recommend!"

"My son has been attending since he was 5.5 months old. It was a really scary and stressful time putting him into daycare but Callie made me feel so secure and every single one of the carers treated my son like he was their own. They sat with us and watched how I fed him, put him to sleep and interacted with him so they could replicate it. Almost 6 months on, I centre our living and commuting circumstances to ensure he continues going to this centre. It's his home away from home and we absolutely love the team there."

"I booked 3 times to visit this centre and twice I had the manager cancel on me via email with not even 30 minutes notice. The third time I had arrived at the centre ready for a tour( a day early, confused with all the cancellations) and Natalie turned me away with me two small children after travelling 30 minutes to get there. As a business owner myself I understand the pressure of staff absences but given the prior two cancellations by the centre you would think some compassion and consideration would have been given."

"You must tour this school! Our family adores Banksia Montessori School and the wonderful staff. Our experience at Banksia has been exceptional! Montessori education has been such a gift for our kids, their gorgeous photo portfolios are so heartwarming to view, and they are so proud of the jobs they have accomplished. The facilities are brilliant, the students have a large outdoor area to play with 2 playground options plus a lovely sand pit, mud kitchens, and much more - all just for the one classroom! Students are so happy and fulfilled, our kids always love going back to visit the educators and have the most beautiful memories of their time at Banksia. The parent community is supportive and welcoming. It is a very unique place, and we feel it's the best start we could have given our kids. If you are looking for a beautiful small school with passionate educators and a strong community network, you will love Banksia Montessori."

"Being a new mum and trying to find a learning centre that makes you feel at ease when you leave your little one there for the day is hard. However, SOEL has been so great with supporting our family and our daughter Sofia since she started there, and she LOVES her educators. Jasmina was so welcoming from day 1 and goes out of her way to make sure Sofia was taken care of, comfortable and that our needs and hers were met from the baby room until now. Being able to speak the same native language with our daughter as we do at home also really helps us as a family reinforce cultural values and shows genuine care for her development. Emily, Minh & Jmara have also been integral in helping our daughter feel cared for, comfortable and happy while mum and dad are working. They have all developed such a special connection with our daughter and it shows when drop-offs are rarely an issue, and she goes to them with open arms. The activities that they come up with each day are so varied and you can see the kids are so engaged and interested, and most important of all having fun! Thank you so much SOEL educators for making parenting a little easier!"

"Goodstart Kalamunda have a great team of staff, my children are so happy there. They have been at the centre for two years. The variety in activities is great and they really hone in on the children's individual interests. The balance between free play and structure to the day is excellent. The staff are kind and caring. I highly recommend the centre."
