"Cradles and Crayons Daycare is a wonderful establishment. The level of care and attendance to the children does not go unnoticed. The daycare is very responsive and always answers the phone even if you are just calling to see if your little one is having a good day. I highly recommend this location to anyone searching for childcare. The leadership under Director Topacio goes beyond expectations and the entirety of the teacher staff is helpful and well versed in childcare proceses."

"I visited and did my observation at Karen’s school last year. I was amazed at how independent the children were. It’s a beautiful school and the teachers are very good. The children are very happy there. Great job Karen"

"DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE. THEY ARE SEVERELY UNDER STAFFED. MY MOTHER WORKED THERE AND WITNESSED STAFF WASHING THE CHILDRENS DISHES WITH HAND SANITIZER. THE CHILDREN FOOD IS KEPT ON A SHELF ALL DAY. NO REFRIGERATION. THEY LEAVE THE CHILDREN INCLUDING INFANTS UNATTENDED TO HUDDLE IN THE HALLWAYS. ON HALLOWEEN THEY PUT KALUHA CHOCOLATE (yes ALCOHOL BASED CHOCOLATE) NOT TO MENTION THE CHOCOLATE HAD BUGS COMING OUT OF IT IN MY CHILDS GOODY BAG. THEY SENT HER HOME SOILED OFTEN. THEY ARE ROUGH WITH THE CHILDREN AND OFTEN YELL. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"Ms Lisa and the school she has created, Montessori in the Pines, is a beautiful example of a true Montessori environment. Our son is shy in groups and she has helped him adjust and come out of his shell socially. She provides loving guidance and encourages him to explore materials outside of his immediate interests. I was shocked when he spontaneously started reading at 3! The animals at the school are also a huge added benefit for our son. He loves animals, and Bun Bun (the rabbit) and the chickens really help him relax and feel at home."

"My younger son attended Montessori Downtown for 3+ years. He was on a full program and oftentimes stayed on campus for 9-10 hours a day. Nevertheless, I barely ever heard him complaining about school, teachers, or students and I, myself, never received a call from his school. He’s grown into a very curious, constantly experimenting, crafts loving, school loving, happy individual and his teachers were absolutely key to that. We’re leaving Montessori Downtown with a heavy heart due to a relocation, but we now have a solid base to build upon. Thank you"

"We have been at the Bee Cave location of Guidepost Montessori for going on 3 years. Throughout these 3 years we have watched the school change, learn, and grow. Everyone that we have had the pleasure of getting to know is just deep down good people. Our oldest has grown and learned so much from both an educational perspective but as a person has learned great communication, kindness, community rules and involvement, and so much more. We are at the very beginning of that journey with our youngest but he’s grown so much over these past few months as well. Anyone debating if Guidepost is the right place for their child, it more than likely is. I couldn’t imagine sending our children anywhere else in the Austin area, and that’s saying a lot since we drive 25+ minutes from Dripping Springs every day to bring our kids here."

"Avoid this daycare at all cost. They don't respect the parents involved and allow inaccurate information to be enforced."

"Mary, the owner and head teacher is like no other. She and her staff provide the tools and foundation for the kids to thrive both during their time there and the years to follow. It is hands down the best Montessori program for ages 2 to 5."
