"La Casa is a great school. My son attended for two years before we moved out of state. He would have continued to attend La Casa if we had not moved away. Chique is great and we trust her with our children. I wish our daughter would have had the chance to attend as well."

"I have waited a little while to write this review so I would not be clouded by my sheer shock and anger at the school. My husband and I heard positive things, unfortunately they were all from people who sent their children here prior to the new owners. Please don't be fooled by this school’s inherited reviews. On my son's first day my motherly instinct was on fire but I chose to ignore my intuition. I will never know if my child felt the wrath of one of the teacher's at this school but I know other children did. Without getting into too much detail I will say that the safety of your children is not this daycare's top priority, or even in their top 10. I was made aware of a situation, about a spiteful teacher, that was not handled by the director after many complaints. The other teachers were concerned for the safety of the children. So concerned that someone made an official complaint after nothing was done by management. Unfortunately the teacher is friends with the owner so there was no consequence. The other teachers were doing the right thing by advocating for the children. This is what I mean by leadership not having the children's best interest in mind. This was the last straw. I do have other complaints that are much more minor: You will not receive updates on your child, no evaluations, no artwork, I never received a curriculum calendar, absolutely no rapport with staff because there are so many children in one room they have no time for even small chit chat about your child. In my son's class the ages were 17 months to 4 years. This is one class! In the other room there were 29 kids and 2 teachers aged 3-7. The 2nd most infuriating thing was the blatant lie we were told. You are reading this right, this is a "Montessori" school and not one person on that campus is Montessori trained. The director told us on our tour that their lead teacher had Montessori training. She does not. Make sure you know that no teacher is trained in the Montessori Method. I also noticed that the infants were left in their carriers while kids filtered in during the morning. I can't say for how long because I was only there for a few moments but I'm guessing until the infant teacher arrived. I never saw an infant unbuckled and held by the director and I never even saw the infant teacher so I have not one clue when she arrived."

"As a former employee I cannot recommend this place. My child was targeted due to personal discrimination towards myself. After multiple times of my child being sent home the admin claimed he was hitting, kicking, biting, scratching, and head butting her I asked for video footage of the incidents. I was ignored and refused, my child’s care was terminated without notice or reason and I was let go. They claimed it was a new policy but not even the staff were aware of this “policy”. They are very unprofessional and lack communication overall. These people do not like to be held accountable for their actions, and will do anything to make sure of that. On another note, the meals and snacks provided are a disgrace. The children are left hungry for more as they are served a couple crackers they call “snack”. The “playgrounds” are nothing more than turf, the children are left fighting over what little is provided outside. I do highly recommend the teachers though, they deserve better. I just cannot recommend the way the school is being ran by admins/ owners. It’s so sad to see a place that could have been great being ruined by poor management. Edit: the below comment again is unprofessional and answered nothing and the fact you’re “offering” to discuss this is down right disrespectful knowing we both know this is not true. I also noticed a few of your reviews are pretty much the same as mine. One of my reviews was regarding child abuse the other poor management and it makes sense that you are from guidepost as well. Do better."

"My son and daughter attended Montessori at Old Field in the beginning of 2021. I could not be any more pleased with the experience my children had. They thrived socially despite covid restrictions that were handled spectacularly. I’m so impressed with how much they learned - anytime they spit out new facts to me, invariably they were learned from Mrs. McHugh (lead teacher). Unfortunately we moved schools due to distance; if I could have have, I would have loved to keep my kids at Old Field. They would have loved it too. Highly recommended!"

"My son is in his kindergarten year at San Jose Montessori. He loves his school very much! The staff is caring and dedicated to every child. This is an authentic Montessori so the quality of education is excellent. San Jose Montessori has exceeded my expectations in all aspects from education to parent workshops. I have toured many schools in San Jose and believe that San Jose Montessori is one of the best."

"Children nap in the same room where a parrot is kept at all times and must wear cloth diapers to attend (if not potty trained yet)."

"We have been overjoyed with our experience at the Lab School. The staff's passion for upholding authentic AMI Montessori programming is unwavering. We had to leave during Covid in 2020 and when we were ready to come back in 2021, the community welcomed us back with open arms. I feel truly blessed to have our two girls there. Recently my wife and I have had to navigate some speech and reading delays. Our daughters' Guides were sincere, direct and clear about the situation and provided great resources. I feel they truly want what's best for them: a genuine partnership towards success."
