"Our son started here when he was 18 months. Due to ear problems he was struggling with speech development. The special attention he receives is nothing short of love. I couldn't ask for a better environment for my son to learn and grow in."

"We have been very happy with our experience at Aldea. Our daughter started in the toddler room at 18 months. We were anxious to have her in a new environment but the staff is amazing and put our mind at ease. She is now in the primary room and learning so much. I was pleased to see they identify strengths and target those in various works. We appreciate the community that is Aldea and would definitely recommend to others."

"Brooklyn Children's House is a *very* special place. Both of my sons were fortunate enough to attend BCH, and though they are different in personality, they both thrived. The teachers at BCH are sensitive, brilliant, and kind educators who create a truly magical environment. They know how to handle every issue that arises with young children, from toileting and separation anxiety to sensory needs and other social challenges. Following the Montessori method, they support each child according to his or her needs, while also creating a joyful community. They really see each child in his or her full potential, and respond to them accordingly. The school also provides meals (!!), and the children participate in meal preparation, even eating the vegetables they grow and harvest in the beautiful backyard. We could not have been happier with our kids' experiences at BCH, and have nothing but gratitude and admiration for its teachers. There is also a warm and welcoming community of parents and caregivers around the school. Every family should have a preschool experience as positive as the one BCH provides."

"My son went to Khalsa years ago and we loved it at first due to the wonderful teacher he had. When he moved up to fourth grade he basically was picked on by his teacher. She choose him as a target and it continued until he started becoming very emotional and terrified about going to school . When the other kids and some of the parents backed up what he was saying we removed him from the school. He never really enjoyed school again after this happened and still talks about the torment as an adult. I would not recommend anyone send their child to Khalsa. Khalsa is also notorious for holding kids back because they want you to leave not because your child needs it."
