"WMS is an amazing school that is focused on child led learning. Each student has personalized learning curriculum to complete independently and also participates in group work. The teachers and staff are all excellent and focused on the students. Students are introduced to many different subjects and cultures throughout the year with a focus on acceptance and understanding. Field trips to local theaters and nature reserves are a regular occurrence and the students love the opportunities to learn in a non traditional setting. The children are taught everything they need to know in order to excel. The lessons are tailored to their individual abilities and learning styles leading to each child feeling valued and capable. WMS is an incredible school with teachers and administrators that put the student first."

"Staff is great, but some of the kids bully, and the staff doesn't handle that correctly, they also say that theydo not reward children when the children in Resource Room get rewarded for reading a word, I understand they have special needs, but so do kids without mental, or physical disabilities."

"Run far far away. Thankfully we chose to not let our little one attend. Monica “sold” us a dream of warm and friendly faces that care for your child. Assured us that this was the place to be. We did a discovery day and it was awful. Our little one has never cried for two hours straight! We picked her up and Monica just shrugged her shoulders as if she couldn’t speak. Talk about a lack of confidence in what she was doing. The other office manager upon our arrival was cold and transactional. She hardly would make eye contact with parents or children. Thankfully we found another one close by and surprise surprise, my child did not cry more than 15 mins at her other discovery day. I know my child could sense that the people there did not care. Choose wisely and ask lots of questions!"

"The only positive aspect of this location is Rachel and Erica that work the front desk. Pre k 2 room, which is ran by Ms Jaselyn Moreno… horrific. I watched her wrestle an item out of a child’s hands, legit wrestle it. When she ripped it from his hands, he began to kick the little girl next to him. After speaking to the director about the incident, she stated he has sensory issues. 😳 When did we start man handling children that have sensory issues? And if his sensory issues are touch (because it’s not noise, that class is LOUD) and the item in his hand was keeping him seated and not bothering anyone… your teacher thought the course of action she was taking was the best choice… man handling a child with sensory issues. The first teacher, Ms B , could not show up on time. Ms Moreno seemed promising, but she started not showing up on time. She left the class one time to drive the bus to pick up kids, leaving her class with someone else during nap. When I showed up to pick up my son, it was 3:15; the lights still off and kids still in bed. When I asked the lady why the kids are still in bed, she replied that their teacher wasn’t back yet and she wouldn’t get them up until she got back. 😳 Do not send your children here. There is zero knowledge or concept of child development on the teacher level or the director level. Many other parent pulled their children from this location."

"I love this school! We decided to enroll our son here and we couldn't be happier that we did. It is very close to where we live. I am very impressed at how the facilities are maintained and kept clean. They teach the kids the importance of washing their hands. I noticed that when he started attending this school, he rarely gets sick. Our son thrived while attending the two year old program with the help of Ms. Bingjie and Ms. Martha who are both instrumental to our son's success. Both are nurturing and does a good job fostering independence. The activities and curriculum are age appropriate and I always look forward to the many artworks that my son bring home. I know my son is happy here and that makes me happy too."

"The teachers at Ridgewood Montessori are SO wonderful and our two toddlers have had such a warm, safe, and fun experience there! The curriculum and activities are so impressive. We searched far and wide, looking at many schools, and Ridgewood has exceeded every expectation!"

"We love Guidepost Evanston. The class room environments are beautifully set up for children’s success. Guides and staff are knowledgeable about the Montessori approach as well as child development. We felt so welcomed and cared for as we walked in each morning. 💛💛💛"

"The absolute worst schools ever! My son has been attending montessri school in Northern California. We just moved down here and his first day was today. I dropped him off and he was screaming. I went back to check on him and the teachers had him in a dark room while she held his arm and told him no. I took him immediately and told her she was traumatizing him! I pulled him out of school and told him he wouldn’t be back. They still charged me a $100 and I will never go back. Worst experience ever. Beware of this place"
