"This nursery is a great place for my children to be. As a parent who is in full time work I can rest easy in the knowledge that my boys are truly cared for and looked after. My eldest son suffers from a speech delay and he has come on leaps and bounds during his time here at Marlborough Hill. The staff truly go above and beyond for the children in their care from a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities to learning not only the skills required for future academics but also their day to day life as they grow. I am extremely pleased with the service they provide and cannot commend enough the staff who work so hard day in and day out. Could not recommend it enough! This place is ran like more than just a business you can truly feel the genuine care extended from the manager Rose and deputy Nadine all the way down to the room staff. VERY HAPPY PARENT!"

"Our little one has been attending the “baby room” at Small World for 4 months now, and he seems to be really enjoying it (I can tell because he’s always excited when we drop him off and playing/in a good mood when we pick him up; I’ve also seen him give kisses to some of the child carers). My husband and I have a great impression of the people working at Small World – they are always positive and in good spirits. Stacey, who runs the baby room, is fantastic – you can tell she genuinely cares a lot about the kids. They have the cutest set-up with Montessori-style toys and an enriching learning environment. And adorable rain suits to go outside in classic British weather. We chose Small World after visiting other nurseries because it has generous outdoor/green space, healthy, tasty food cooked for the kids, and, most importantly, whenever we visited, the kids seemed relaxed. They hosted a conscientious and extended settling-in process for our little one, which we think really helped him adjust. It gives us a lot of peace of mind, knowing he’s looked after while we’re at work. Thank you, Small World!"

"I would give 10 out of 10 for the day to day experience and quality of staff with the children. The only reason I have dropped to 9 is because the finance side of things is not quite as slick. So that's the minus 1 - why the plus 9? The people! The staff are amazing with the kids, and it feels like a family full of aunties, uncles and older cousins. They listen and pay attention to what is important in the children's and parents lives. They are constantly improving and updating the environment, informing parents of the different topics and learning experiences going on. As a parent you get daily updates, weekly newsletters, monthly photos, and termly developement reviews. How did they handle Covid??? Hygiene and cleanliness has always been a strength but they have been ahead of the curve throughout the varying stages of the pandemic. They were only closed when the government said they had to be, they were open for key workers and have not had to close since. Even on the very rare occasions (1 that I know of) when staff and students have had to isolate, if children were able to attend, BB Glenalmond made sure suitable classrooms and staff were available to care for them. Michelle and Paulina's team are just that - a team! And I am so happy that my girls have had this nursery experience. Positive Responsiveness, Reliability, Quality, Professionalism"

"This nursery is simply fantastic. Our 18 month old daughter settled in instantnly and had great time. The nursery staff is very passionate about their work, food is cooked fresh from scratch, and there is plenty activities to keep kids entertain and develop their skills. You can tell that everyone is just very happy there. I would highly recommend that nursery to everyone."

"Our son attended this nursery from when he first started nursery at age 10 months. He settled in really well and loved going to nursery. He did lots of activities, lots of outside time and really developed loads while he was there. He loved his key worker and the key worker was really helpful in giving us lovely updates, photos and even a call about his progress to help with the fact that due to the covid pandemic we couldn’t ever see him actually in the nursery setting. The management of this nursery are super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help. I would highly recommend the nursery. Positive Responsiveness, Reliability, Quality, Professionalism"

"I highly recommend this Montessori Nursery for your children. As a parent of two, I’ve witnessed their remarkable learning journey—from the infant class to the children’s class. The teachers at this nursery are not only loving and kind but also incredibly supportive, not just of the children but also of new parents. The admission process is straightforward, and Ms. Winnie provides essential guidance and information. Many new parents, like myself, appreciate the Montessori approach to education that this nursery offers. I’d like to express my gratitude to all the teachers, including Ms. Winnie, Ms. Marie-Ann, Ms. Monica, and others, for their dedication and care."

"Dawmouse is a brilliant Montessori nursery where the children are happy and well looked after by Miss Emma and her team. The teachers are engaged and actively participate in the development of all the children according to their needs. Updates for parents are regular and informative. Would highly recommend."
