"My son attended Guiding Steps for 2.5 years before graduating to kindergarten and we had a great experience there. All of the teachers were very attentive and caring, and my son is very well prepared for kindergarten after our time there. Pricing is also very reasonable compared to other preschools we toured, especially if you are looking for a Montessori based curriculum and environment. Lali and Srini (owners) have always been very helpful and quick to respond any time I had a question. I’ll forever be grateful for them and for the care my son received during his time at Guiding Steps Montessori."

"Hi, I registered my Twin for Pre-K. But They could go for just one day because they did not help kids to get use it. As a Montessori school I would expect from them to create friendly environment for my kids to help them like the school and get use it. They expect from me to leave crying and screaming to totally stranger people. This is not even compatible with pedagogy.And Owner of the school said just get your check and go. I think this is scandal for private school. Manager and teacher was nice but Owner was really Rude.Because she is really old lady I did not want say anything disrespectful but It was BIG disappointment."

"If you have small children in need of daycare, this is the place to be. Ms. Stacey and her employees are the best. They run this place with great love and care. The outside area has everything to stimulate a child in play and fun. They take the time to not only watch the kids but to stimulate their little minds as well. My granddaughter has been to another place and we brought her back and knew that this is the place she needed to be. She was very happy that we did. They are open and transparent and the greatest daycare in the Peoria Area. You will never have regrets bringing them here. Your only regret is when they leave!"

"We enrolled our child at 23 months in the first 2s-5s group to make their world together at CK @Slope in 2024-2025. We could not speak more highly of Collective Kind. We especially value the intentionality evident in decisions made by the all-parent leadership: from protocols to business practices. We have been 300% impressed with the qualifications of the teaching staff and we have been inspired by the blend of educational approaches influencing the way(s) the classroom is shaped and led. We have witnessed huge advances in our child’s social-emotional learning and skill-building in a short time. We also deeply value the transparency in all communication from the school, including immediate connection with teachers when needed and detailed updates on how the kids spend their days together. We notice how hard the staff and teachers work to welcome everyone in the children’s families to be a present part of a mindful community and classroom. It’s been a gift to our family to be a part of this school."
