"*Long Review* but I’m going to give this center an honest review. My son attended this school from 10 months old to July ‘24. It’s started out well. He adjusted to the school, director, and owner after some time. And I say the owner Nancy and director Courtney because those are the only constant figures. The other teachers come in for a few months and are gone as quickly as they came. We experienced ups and many downs with this school. I have seen parents in full work uniform be turned around if they forgot the daily folder or blanket having to rush to go retrieve it in time to make the cut off time to check in and get to work as well really disheartening. I have had to leave work more times than I can count for harmless things. Don’t get me started on the threatening messages they send. I picked my child up one day and I thought it was an allergic reaction he had and reported it to the owner and come to find out it was bed bug bites on his back. I spoke with a former parent and she confirmed the same for her son. If you’re looking for a school where they can play all day and watch TV this is the school for you. Oh and be prepared to pick your child up filthy and full of dirt it’s insane! In May ‘24 we were put in a dangerous situation that included a hospital stay due to their negligence. Needless to say I have many regrets in that situation. In the midst of all that my son was having a rough time and we really wanted to help our son through his rough patch. So me and his father talked with him as best as we could about his behavior. I wanted to go to the school to watch secretly to see what was the triggers for my son and the reason for the daily write ups at the door. I was denied that. I was told the other parents wouldn’t want a stranger watching their kids. Mind you my son has been there since 10 months old the longest except for 2 others. The parents walk up to me and say how he waves and hugs them every morning they know me and him. I said ok so we are going nowhere here so we silently enrolled him elsewhere but he wouldn’t be able to start until August. I pulled him out and while we waited to start the new school I was full of anxiety. My son was painted as a problem child for so long I was afraid he wouldn’t be accepted. Well here we are almost a month in. My fears have been put to rest. His new director wanted to let me know how exceptional my son is doing and how they enjoy working with him. He has his moments but like myself they have found even ground to work with him on. He is also being potty trained like he is at home at school FINALLY. We regressed because the new teacher was not told he was being potty trained. So she asked why he had pull ups and wanted to know was he being potty trained?sigh. I am glad I removed him from a playhouse and enrolled him into a great well rounded school. Which happens to be connected to one of the best child care centers in St. Tammany. Oh and guess what on the first day I forgot his blanket because I was nervous for my son. They said mom it’s ok we have dozens he can choose, from can you believe it?!?!? To wrap this up if you read all of this thank you. I give them one star because I have to and their price is dirt cheap and needs to be. Don’t sell your kid short I know the climate we live in financially it’s hard to make transitions like this but if you can please avoid this place at all cost. Just for that peace of mind."

"10/10 I would definitely recommend. I’ve been bringing my 4 y/o here for almost a year now & she has learned SO MUCH! She loves all of her teachers & they are so thoughtful & attentive; some mornings, my daughter may feel anxious when I’m dropping her off needing to get to work & her teachers always offer her that extra bit of emotional support that she may need. Which makes you feel secure in knowing your child is safe & taken care of. Every time I pick her up, she is having the best time & is excited to show & tell me all about what she has learned that day. We love it here & couldn’t have asked for a better environment."

"All three of our kids have loved going to UMS. The teachers are amazing and the community is supportive. We've had an exceptional time during these formative years. Highly recommend."

"Very attentive staff and director. Classrooms are organized and cleaned daily. Kids that need help going potty and diaper changes are included. Snacks, lunch and nap time are part of the daily routine ."

"My son is 4 and he has been going here since he was 2.5 years old. We are very happy with our experience. Very kind people. Makes your child feel like home. Great communication, you can experience that personalized care and attention to you and your child’s needs. I evaluated many options for my son including the brands and they are run like a factory, not at all what I wanted for my son! This place is not at all like that!"

"This place has done wonders for my son! He has learned so much! From the bad experiences we have had in the past at other schools, this place is a breath of fresh air! I recommend this place to anyone you will watch you kid blossom as well!!"
