"Ms. pat is a very sweet woman. My eldest son did well there when he was attending some years back. I wish I could attest to his specific growth here, relative to another school, but it was the only daycare we attended at the time. Although, he seemed to thrive about as much as you could expect from a toddler, and he was very proud to bring home morsels of subjects they went over. I never felt like he was neglected or uncared for. Overall he was happy to go, and they seemed to treat him very well. I think that's about the best you can hope for when you leave someone to watch after your children."

"My son loved going to daycare. He made new friends. He has a huge smile when he sees his teachers. Talks about his friends and teachers all day, absolutely loved the way they nurtured him."

"I would highly recommend Sunflower Preschool. Most of the families who chose Sunflower had living nearby as one criteria if not the main one. But for us, it didn't have to do with distance (it is actually a very long commute for us, we chose it for other reasons). The main things we looked at when choosing it were (in no particular order): - Teacher's tenure (one of the teachers has been there decades, she was the teacher of one of the teachers, most other places have an extremely high turnover, which is hard for kids making bonds that need to be continually replaced). - Time outside. The kids spend a lot of time outside. Teacher's education. The teachers have continuous professional development and they are aware of things that are important for us, such as peaceful parenting, non-violent communication, Waldorf and Montessori principles, among others. - Mixed age group. - Lower focus on academics and more focus on emotional intelligence, relationships, creativity, and awareness of the environment. - No screens. As I said, one thing that has surprised me when interacting with other parents from Sunflower is that most of them have had the proximity to Sunflower as one of the main if not the main criteria when choosing it. I think most parents that see it that way got lucky and I hope they are now able to appreciate the little treasure that Sunflower is."

"I'm crossposting the review that my husband put on Yelp about this facility here, as leadership has had other negative reviews that have been posted taken down. I think parents considering this facility have the right to know what's truly going on: "Our daughter had been (we finally pulled her due to gross incompetence among admin and aggressively rude behavior when we dared to voice our concerns) at Primrose Mueller for four months. During that time, she was moved across three different classrooms, each with different teachers. There was zero preparation to ease any transitions between spaces. There was zero communication between teachers to provides specifics about our child. This lack of communication was, we found, symptomatic of a much larger problem. The on-site manager, with support from higher level administrators, operates this location under a zone of secrecy. They actively discourage teachers from communicating pieces of information with parents that could affect the health and safety of children. Illnesses are not reported to parents in a timely manner. Children who are still symptomatic are allowed to return early to classrooms. Children with obvious behavioral issues are not sent home to work with parents. Classroom temperature controls don't seem to work, and any expression of concern is met with gaslighting. One afternoon we went to pick up our daughter and nobody knew where she was, leading to a frantic search over a several minute period. The teachers are generally doing their best, but the people running the location care more about the perception of a smooth operation than (a) it's actual execution and (b) the health and well-being of children. Teachers who dare to provide relevant information to parents are reprimanded and/or dismissed. Parents who voice concerns to the higher-ups are met with gaslighting behavior, aggressive tones, and deflection of blame. You couldn't pay me to send my child back here under its current management. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid a disastrous experience." The photos included in this review are of ownership's response, attempting to mischaracterize the situation we endured, and my clarifying response."

"My daughter just finished vpk here for the 2017-2018 school year. We will miss Brownsville, if we could afford to stay we would. The education and care for these babies are like no other, we are moving on but will not forget what brownsville has done for her and how far she has come. Thanks Guys! Ms. Wallace"

"My daughter attended lake hills from age 2.5 to age 5. Every teacher there gave her support, love, and understanding but also structure. She had the same teacher the whole time in the under 3 classroom and the same teacher when she moved into the 3-6-year-old classroom. She is now going to elementary school but still wants to visit her teacher on the weekends. We had a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone."

"My daughter has really enjoyed the toddler program at Montessori. The staff is caring and professional, and it has been so fun to see my daughter pick up new skills from Montessori (like new vocabulary, songs, habits and abilities). We have already re-enrolled her for the next academic year. Thanks for all you do, Montessori Academy of Valparaiso!"
