My daughter began attending the infant program at the Wayne location when she was 7 months old and transitioned to the toddler program at 18 months. Her infant teacher, Ms. Maria Sepulveda, was truly exceptional—she cared for my daughter as if she were her own child. As a first-time mom, I felt completely at ease dropping her off every day. Ms. Genesis and Ms. Delacruz were also an outstanding team, consistently going above and beyond for my daughter. In the toddler program, Ms. Medina and Ms. Torres provided the same level of care and dedication we experienced in the infant program. These five women are nothing short of incredible, and their commitment made a lasting impact on my daughter’s early development. That said, like many schools, there is a high staff turnover rate. We experienced two incidents involving poorly trained staff, but both individuals either left or were let go. The school leader, however, is highly responsive and takes concerns seriously. Her commitment to the well-being of all students is evident in her actions. Overall, I recommend this school to parents seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their child. Make full use of the camera access—it’s a great feature for peace of mind!

Avoid at all costs. My daughter started here in January of 2024 when she was 4 months old. During her first week she came home with bruises and scratches all over her face by her eye. I understand things will happen from time to time, but the reality is she was left on the floor, with no teacher in sight. It wasn’t until we watched the video footage that we were able to find out what truly happened. Being that the class goes up to 18 months, another child went up to her leaned over her and was aggressively waving her hands on her face. This is no fault of the other child, it is pure neglect on the teachers. When asked why our daughter wasn’t put in a place where she could be safe and contained so another child couldn’t reach her if a teacher wasn’t able to watch, we were told it’s not the montessori way. At what point do you take safety into consideration? The issues don’t stop there. On numerous occasions our daughter wasn’t given her bottles, or given her breakfast/lunch. When we would ask what happened at pick up we were told “we were short staffed” or “she was too busy with other activities”. These ages are critical for children to receive proper nutrition. What am I paying tuition for if my child is not being fed or watched after? Additionally, one day her diaper wasn’t changed for five hours. After numerous conversations with the teachers and director, it seems the issue comes down to staffing, inexperience, and no proper training, which was evident it was not changing any time soon. There were many other issues in the short 5 months we were there, however these were the main issues showing pure neglect. The only saving grace was the main morning teacher Ms. Sepulveda. Ms. Sepulveda always had everything under control, but once she left for the day or if there was a substitute everything falls apart. Save yourself the time, money and extreme stress.

My daughter has been at Apple Montessori since she was 6 months old and she has learned so much here. I am really grateful for all the teachers in the toddler class: Ms.Medina, Ms. Beach, and Ms.Torres. All of them are so dedicated to the development and education of the smallest among us. Couldn’t recommend this school enough, we are very happy !

All I can say is that if you have a child that don’t move and doesn’t even speak it should go there….paying $1500 a month for preschool they don’t even know how to put your kid to sleep my daughter id very active but they went above and beyond with the stories and the complaints about a 2 year old everyone wants to work but no one wants to make an effort welcome to America!

We enrolled our son in pre school half days this year. We were attracted to Apple's diverse learning program, especially their out-of-classroom experiences. We were unaware that half time students would be exempt from such things like field trips. It is not listed in their handbook or on any contract we signed. Our son did not want to go full days because he is only 4 and said he wasn't ready yet. We really wanted our son to go on the field trips with his friends so we went up the chain of command to try and find a way for our son to go. we even offered to take him ourselves and pay for him but we were told by a Ms. Wykoff that if we brought him ourselves he would not be allowed to participate with the other students. It ultimately came down to the school excluding our son from things like field trips as a way to put pressure on us to go full time which would almost double the tuition which would benefit the school, not my child. Individually, I really liked the teachers and teacher aids. I would not recommend this school.

Searching for a school for my daughter was a difficult and stressful experience. After doing extensive research on the surrounding schools, Apple Montessori was by far the top pick. She first attended Ms. Abreu's class, the developmental growth and independence that developed was amazing to watch. Ms. Abreu and team always kept open communications on what they observed while my daughter was in class, as well as tracked all activities of the day in the school app. With the transfer to Ms. Choudhury's class, I was nervous how she would react to the new environment, teachers, and schedule. I shouldn't have been surprised when teachers like Ms. Sema went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. My daughter continues to excel and exceed milestones and I know I have Apple Montessori to thank for that. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for everything you do.

I had called Montessori seeking childcare for my son who is turning 3. I told them all about how he has a speech delay and is starting an intensive speech therapy program and would need abbreviated days. They told me their program includes a unique, language-based program, that has worked well with other speech delayed children they had at their school This made me feel comfortable and that my son would benefit there, and so I scheduled a tour. I toured the Wayne, NJ school location with Assistant Director, Samantha Broeckel. All was going great! The school is very nice and they have top of the line cleaning equipment, wide open play areas, etc. Then, at the end of the tour, I told Samantha that my son had a religious exemption for vaccinations and if that would pose a problem. She said it would not and went on with the rest of the tour. However, her tone had physically changed after that. I read people well. I left there KNOWING his religious exemption would be a problem. Luckily for Montessori, they have an application process in play. This allows them to use another excuse to not accept your child. I submitted my sons application anyway, in hopes that it was just my mind playing tricks on me. Low and behold, Samantha Broeckel called me earlier to say that they wouldn't be able to accept my son based on his speech delay. What a change of story! At first they told me their program would accommodate someone like him well...and now, not so much. During the entire beginning of the tour, Samantha was explaining how the way they mix age groups would benefit my son to see and hear the older kids speaking, and how the phonetics programs they implement in the classroom would benefit my son (which, by the way, are just simple flash cards with the letter and a picture of a word that goes with that letter...not really unique at all). I wonder what changed? They used his speech delay as an excuse to not accept him based on the fact that he has a religious exemption for vaccinations. Would've been better off stating that there wasn't an open spot for him. For such a "prestigious" school (and I say that lightly)...that was a really stupid move. They're obviously a one-track minded and discriminatory school, and I really dodged a bullet here.

We had a very bad experience with apple Montessori wayne..the teacher doesnt look very invested in well being and improvement of kid.. they expect a 1.5 yr old to sit in one place and do their own thing and complaint if they dont follow it or doesn't listen..we have been getting every day complaint and as parent its too much pressure .... they expected a change in behavior in just a week of joining and kept complaining to us .. ..we tried day care one near by to this place and it helped us a lot ...she is thriving there and has improved a lot ...this is what we expect from a day care which is seeing progress rather hearing complaints everyday and creating more pressure for kid and parents..
