Apple Montessori Schools & Camps - Hoboken

We have had a truly wonderful experience with our soon-to-be 4 year old. We transferred here from another school where the experience wasn’t so great, so it’s been a breath of fresh air. Ms. Tira and Ms. Nova have been so great with our son and he really loves them so much. All of the staff are incredibly kind and generous and extremely friendly. Ms. Bathla has been very helpful since we first toured. I really can’t express enough good things about the school and faculty. We just signed up our 4 month old come Sept, looking forward to his experience there.

Maxwell Apple Montessori in Hoboken was the best School experience that our 4 year old has had. The Leadership and Faculty are very patient, caring and communicative. Our son truly thrived during his time there. Had we not moved out of state, he would've still been attending.

Despite the well-documented child abuse event at Apple in 2015, I sent my child here b/c I wanted a Montessori education and the school reassured me there were cameras. I signed up for the Video app and was upset that the app only let me watch my child for 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time before the app interrupted me, blocked the screen and prompted me to "continue session". Who can sit at their phone all day pressing "continue session"? Then, one day my child came home and told me something disturbing had happened in class. I wanted to make sure my young one wasn't just making something up so I asked to see the cameras and the senior staff would not let me watch the video. I never ended up finding out what happened - admittedly, it could have been nothing.. However, if you have any doubts about sending your child here, don't let the cameras reassure you. Trust your gut. The cameras offer little to no coverage of what happens in the classroom.

This is a great school for young children. My 5 year old daughter feels very engaged with the activities and her teachers ... Except for Miss Badhla because she doesn't understand the Montessori philosophy and was teaching children to clap with only 2 fingers! Where is the joy in that!!! (thankfully she has more of an administrative position now, because she is not a great teacher for children). The Director Mr Andreas Dimitratos, Mr D, is absolutely fabulous! He has a heart of gold and really cares about the students. They have mixed aged class groups so it feels very organic, like a real family. The older children get to share their knowledge with the younger ones and the younger ones progress faster. I highly recommend this school. We also love the director, Mr D; He is very professional and has always been ready to help us. Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism

My son has been attending this school over a year and we love it ! The teachers are kind and you can really see the love they have for our baby. So far he’s had two teachers Ms Hernandez and Mrs Shehu and they are both amazing! Highly recommend Apple and their staff.

I am thrilled to share that my 4-year-old son enrolled in Apple Montessori in the middle of the school year, and we were welcomed with open arms. From day one, Ms. Fernandez has been an exceptional teacher!!! She's attentive, patient, and provides a wealth of information when updating us on our son's progress. We are beyond grateful for her dedication and care.

We had a wonderful experience at the Apple Montessori at Maxwell Place. Our preschool teacher, Ms.Nicola, and her team are so caring and wonderful. We made the right move to switch daycares for our son and are tremendously happy with the results.
