Compared to other daycares in the area, you take significantly more days off or closed. Closed for 2 weeks straight? If parents can’t be productive at work, why pay you. Update: 12/30/2024 - Appreciate your response, but why is this different from last year. Kids visiting family was a thing an year ago, I'm sure. Teachers probably get the same amount of training as last year as your school is not a new one. The break wasn't this long last year, started on the 25th of December and ended on the 2nd of January. A day or two can help parents catch up with work. My math tells me that you were closed more than 6% of this year on working days, is that normal in your Montessori school system? What parents and kids may or may not do or if they travel or don't is up to the families. Charging for 2 straight weeks with no relief for parents who have work commitments to catch up to, not gonna work.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Sugarcreek and Ms Reshma! It’s an engaging and fun environment where our children have thrived. Our son has struggled with reading and with just one summer with Ms Reshma, he is showing an interest in reading and significant improvements in comprehension. We couldn’t be more grateful for the teachers and staff at Sugarcreek!

Sugarcreek Montessori fosters a strong sense of independence and self-confidence in its students. The Montessori method allows children to learn at their own pace and explore their interests.

Sugarcreek Montessori has exceeded my expectations in every way. The teachers are passionate, nurturing, and skilled in guiding children's development. The school's beautiful campus and well-equipped classrooms create an inspiring learning environment. I'm thrilled with my child's experience here.

I love Mrs Greta and Mrs Mertiza my twin boys started last year in Nov at 14 months. At first I was hesitant like every other parents to pur their kids in day care but I'm glad I made the choice to do so as they have learned so much!!! I love how miss mertiza and Greta are very patience and caring towards all the kids. Now they are 2 and moved on to next class and I'm sad but they love it!!!! I will definitely recommend this school specially for Explore class because that's where my boys started!!!!

Where do I begin. When my son was around 15 months old we were looking for a new daycare and we were lucky enough to get a spot at Sugarcreek Montessori on Gaston Rd in Katy. We instantly within a month saw a difference in our son and how he was learning. Let me back up for a minute to when we toured the school. We were taken to the baby room which is babies over 12 months and walking. After touring so many schools the one thing that stood out to me at Sugarcreek was when the director walked us into the baby room the teachers had all the babies in circle time learning their lesson for the day and the teacher turned around to see who was at the door and then continued to teach. She did not get up and did not come over to greet us. Now some people might think this is not welcoming or nice but to me this is exactly what I wanted. I want to know that the teacher is engaging my child and not getting up every time someone comes to view the classroom. The teachers in this room were completely focused on teaching and engaging the babies. I was Super Impressed at that moment. This was my first time meeting Mrs. Greta and Mrs. Zulema. (both of these teachers currently work at SugarCreek Fulshear) Now back to class. I became to love the teachers at Sugarcreek Gaston as family. I could tell that they truly loved the babies and really cared that the babies were learning and developing. They are not there just watching the children and collecting a paycheck. My son went through the toddler class next and then on to the transition class where he had Mrs. Cici and Mrs. Lorena. I cannot tell you enough wonderful things about these two women. Again I was amazed on a weekly basis of what he was learning in this class and at this age. I think he was 2 and 1/2 almost 3 when he was at home talking about Antarctica. My husband was stunned and asked where he learned this word. I told him they are learning about continents in school. We stayed at Sugarcreek katy location until they opened the new location in Fulshear. At this time My son is now in the Primary class and is with Ms. Anny and Mrs. Lorena (he has been with her since he was 2 and 1/2) There is not enough room on this page or enough words for me to express my gratitude for Ms. Anny and Mrs. Lorena. I am super amazed at how much my son has learned in their care. He is now 4 and 1/2 and can almost read, count to 100 . He can count by 2s, 5s. 10s. He can spell and write his whole name. He is even starting to spell some words. We actually just moved and we were at Gallery Furniture the other day on 45 North and if you dont know they have a big blue tower in front with a huge clock. When we pulled up he said "hey we are going to England". I looked at my husband confused at first then i realized he remembered learning about big bend in school. Seriously you will love these teachers so much. I cannot leave this review without mentioning the owner Mrs. Gauri. Her and her husband know me by name and they always speak to me and anytime we have had a question or concern (which is almost never) they are prompt and professional and courteous in their reply. Mrs. Gauri even subbed on a field trip for my sons class last year and spending the day with her you can see how much she cares for all the children at her school. In Summary leaving your kid at Sugarcreek is like leaving them with Family. I fell completely at ease knowing they are looking after my son and enriching him with a great foundation of education.
