Discovery Early Learning Center

We absolutely LOVE Discovery ELC. After moving to the area we tried another daycare and it was an awful experience (won’t mention their name, but it was a chain). We were very nervous to have him switch schools again. After a few days at Discovery our toddler quickly fell in love with school all over again. The teachers are amazing! They do awesome activities every day and truly care about the kids they are taking care of. We feel so lucky to have this school so close by!

Love, love, love this daycare. My 3 year old has been there since he was 15 months and is thriving there. The teachers are so wonderful and my son adores them. My baby is also about to start there at 11 months old and I can’t wait to see how much he loves it!

If you like to have your child yelled at this is the place to bring you child. I came in here to see the daycare and talk about openings for our 3 year old and almost 2 year old. There is an open room for 3 year olds right in the opening. Talking to the lady up front trying to have a conversation, the teacher that is in that room is asking a child to get up and when that child wasn’t raised their voice to the child. Personally that’s not okay and definitely did not sit right with me. As I told the lady I think we’re okay and I don’t think children should be yelled at or voices risen at them especially at a daycare. And if that’s what they do with a potential prospect of a parent there god knows what they do when no one is looking. We left and will never consider this daycare ever again.

We have 2 children that attend Discovery learning center. My husband and I have always felt at ease bringing our kids here each day! Ms. Jenny and all of the teachers at Discovery have always treated my children so well! We love Discovery!

Between my two kids, we have been going to Discovery ELC as a family for over five years now. Needless to say, I’m a big fan. My kids have both loved all of their teachers and thrived in this environment. I appreciate the transparent communication from the owner, Jenny. There are some teachers that have been at the school as long as we have, which is a true testament in a field that often sees a lot of turnover.

I have been at Discovery for a little over two years. I love that this learning center is small. The staff gets to know the parents and we get to know the staff. It truly gives a family, cozy feeling. Because it’s smaller, each child gets the care and attention they need and deserve. The curriculum is great! My child has learned so much, from colors/numbers to being a kind person. This learning center also lets kids play in the dirt! Kids actually get to be kids. I love that my daughter isn’t afraid of getting a little dirty and likes bugs! I love that my kid is getting the great outdoor experience I had when I was growing up. I highly recommend them to everyone that has asked, and even to those that haven’t. Jenny (the owner) and her staff have been fabulous. They’re understanding and immediately respond to any questions, calls or emails. They’ve been a fantastic extension to our family, and they’ll continue to be as our children grow. Thank you to all! We have been going to Discovery for almost 4 years. I have three kids so have had the opportunity to have kids in all the age groups. I love that everyone there knows me and my children. It feels home-like, cozy and safe. The small size means lots of personal attention for my kids. The curriculum is great! Jenny the owner is always responsive to emails and phone calls. Any concern I have had was quickly addressed.

We absolutely love this learning center!! This is not your traditional daycare facility. From an infant to a schooler the children have an academic schedule that strives for opening up the their minds for a higher learning on every aspect. They also get to play in the dirt and just be kids. The staff is not only professional but genuinely care for each and every child. My granddaughter has been here since 2019 and is so excited every morning to go. There is no other place I fully trust. Jenny and Staff we love and appreciate you all! Keep up the phenomenal job. Very welcoming, when my son arrived we instantly noticed a change in his demeanor. For the first time he actually looked forward to school everyday, this made mornings a lot smoother and way less stressful. I’m glad we made the switch.

After several recommendations from friends and colleagues, we enrolled our daughter in the Pre-K class here. It was her first time in an environment outside of in-home care. Not only have her Pre-K teachers been amazing, but she comes home talking about all of the other teachers as well. It truly gives me a warm feeling knowing she is surrounded by so many caring people. As a former teacher, I can see how much work they put into developing a curriculum that sets the foundation for primary school while integrating hands-on learning stations that engage their little minds. We love Discovery!
