Ridgefield Montessori School

RMS is an amazing school with a fabulous community of teachers and families. We are so grateful to have this option here in town. I hope we can get more involved with the school because we love it so much! My son is in Ms. Debbie’s class and she is incredible. She is so warm and loving. We couldn’t ask for a better place to send him. Thank you to Ms. Cathy and all of the RMS staff for preparing a beautiful, warm, and loving environment for our children!

Both of my daughters attend RMS, and I can't say enough good things about this preschool! My oldest daughter is currently enrolled in kindergarten and my youngest in the toddler program at RMS and loving every minute. It amazes me how much they learn every day and how independent they have become. The school has amazing programs, after care, activities (for parents and children) and even a summer camp! The teachers are caring, loving and supportive of the families. The staff and programs at RMS have been above and beyond our wildest expectations, we love this school!

As a parent, I am constantly looking for the best for my littler daughter, and It was like that when I found Ridgefield Montessori School (RMS). I am totally sure that my daughter is receiving the best education at RMS, Not only because the school is based on an incredible philosophy, but also because the Director, teachers, and administrative staff make this school a magical place.

Warm, caring, nurturing school! Our daughter has been here for three years and we couldn't be happier with the program! She continues to learn and grow every day in a healthy, caring, and nurturing environment. The teachers are incredibly patient, caring, and creative and the school is very well run. The culture of the school values each child as an individual and lets them learn, grow, and explore at a pace that teaches them to love learning. Look no further than RMS!

The best pre-school in the area! My son attended RMS for 3 years. He started at RMS at 17 months. Both the teachers and the Director are phenomenal. The staff is Montessori trained and their care and compassion for each student is admirable. Thank you RMS and RJ and I miss you all!

RMS is a wonderful school! The teachers are warm, caring, and supportive. Overall it is a nurturing environment for young children to reach their full potential at their own pace. They were very patient with my son adjusting to school. He is very happy and looks forward to going everyday. He enjoyed the summer camp as well. The flexible after care program is convenient as well. Whenever we mention RMS my son beams with pride. I know many other families with similar positive experiences. We toured almost every preschool in Ridgefield and felt this one was the best

We started our son, Max, in the Toddler Program at Ridgefield Montessori School when he was 19 months old. All of the teachers were so warm and welcoming in his transition to "school." Now in his third year, in the Primary Program, he is continuously stimulated by the different work available to him in the classroom. From painting maps of the world to painting sunflowers inspired by Vincent van Gogh, from classification of plants and animals (he's 4!) to a diagram of the apple, from the Pink Tower to the Brown Stairs, he is encouraged to learn and explore while becoming self-sufficient. We now have both of our children attending RMS and couldn't be happier with the school.
