Premier Montessori Academy of Murphy TX

Cant thank enough school staff for easy transition of my 2 year old baby from home to school , as both working parents we are so blessed to have Miss Tina and her whole staff for our lil one there all the time. How my daughter hugs her teacher Miss Brenda when she gets into the classroom melts my heart ❤️ . We recommend this school to everyone they are so clean, safe and friendly and focused on montesorri curriculum, what else we need as parent . Thank you whole staff of premier montesorri 🙏🙏

I had to pull out my child after 3 years of attending this school. Everything was great until they changed owners last August 2023. It went from Premier Christian Academy to Premier Montessori Academy. New management lacks communication, and likes to disregard parents feedback and concerns. One day, I had an emergency and needed to get in contact with the school and I called like 10 times and no one answered. When I got to the school they said that although the school is open 6:30am - 6:30pm, office hours are only 8am-5pm and if I need to get in contact with someone, I can just write to them in the portal. Like what? No, there should be an emergency number to call or calls should be transfer to the owner on those “non office hours”. But even then, when I have called during office hours, they still don’t always answer. My biggest concern is that during non office hours, they leave the front unattended and the teachers have no choice but to greet the adult who is ringing the bell. This is a safety hazard. What if that adult is not safe? You need to open the door to where all the children are in order to greet that person or ask to identify themselves. This is why parents have key fogs to enter and those who don’t need someone from the front to help that person. The owner like to brag that Montessori is the best but yet I don’t even know what my child is learning. I have no weekly recap, a month theme or even just telling parents hey, this week your children are learning xyz so you as a parent can help at home to continue or support what they have learned. A lot of parents have already pulled out their children from this daycare and I can see why. Constantly being short staff and when they are the put all the kids together early afternoon to watch tv for hours. Almost all the teachers except for 2 have left with this new management and I have heard feedback about the new owner and her management skills that I will not share but please look elsewhere for your children. I’m giving it 2 stars because there are a few teachers there that do care. But everything else is a no.

BE Aware*** This school MERGED with New Century Montessori. My child went to New Century M. After 2 1/2 Months and no updates of New Century moving too a new location, they let us know they are moving a week before to this Premier Montessori Academy. My child was hurt and checking ht state weebsite was never reported. After the shady things New Century owners did during the move of the school I was taught how to look up incidents. The teachers may be good here, IDK. All I know is we were left with no daycare, a $2k+ medical bill, a promise of a month free voucher that never happened, very poor incident report that was only posted to the message thread of a app and now a name change and the previous business name is dissolved. If you decide this is the place for you because they may have nice teachers, just remember this business will leave you hanging at any chance they can when things are bad. New management or not, its the owners that will not communicate anything with you which in turn the manager/head of school will not either. As a business this place is run till it becomes deficient and merges with its neighbors to hide the incidents. Thought NEW Parents should be aware and just in case this review helps someone. I can not file a report to the state because this business merged with Premiere Montessori and New Century Montessori technically does not exist.

The owner, teachers and staff at this school are amazing. My son has been attending for over 3 years and while ownership is new, they are professionals and have been doing this for years. They plan so many events and for the kids and you can see how much care they put into everything they do for them.

The new owner and management since October are amazing. Always willing to help and meet our needs with care. Tina the owner is almost always there, engaged and attentive. It feels like they are in school with a good quality schedule, and weekly activities that align with whatever is going on, like Earth day, international day, even Groundhog Day. Our daughters are constantly learning, and our two year old is always singing new songs. Our daughters are 11months and 2years and so far, we absolutely love their teachers. Mrs Carolina has been extremely patient and loving with our 2yr daughter who has separation anxiety. Ms Machaela is an amazing helper in the baby room and our baby loves her. They really make an effort to keep the facility clean and decorated to make it welcoming and fun for the kids. Ms Baha at the front always has a smile and knows the kids names. You can tell she loves her job. The prices here is just the cherry on top to loving this place. It is truly affordable!

Management has changed since Sept 2023. Now known as Premier Montessori Academy is led by Ms. Tejani. She comes with experience as a teacher and also certified in Montessori methods. She does have a open door policy and welcomes new ideas and opinions in shaping the young lives at this school. She has brought a lot of change to the school starting with Montessori methods in classrooms, new and improved lunch menu, activities and social events, and training of teachers in the Montessori way. She is very involved with the kids and the teachers. The staff, especially the teachers at this school are welcoming and really care about the children. The children seems to be engaged with their teachers and Miss Brenda is awesome in Kanga 2. She has a personal relationship with each one of the children and wants them to succeed. You can see all the hard work she puts in her class in training the kids for the future. Overall this is a great safe and loving place. I can't wait to see what my child learns throughout her years at this school.

The staff at Premier Montessori has so much heart and a caring mindset. Our daughter gets excited about going here, and the teachers make a genuine effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. Ms. Mahi and Ms. Bahareh are amazing! The owner, Ms.Tina is very knowlegable about education and she will go above and beyond to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for kids. We’re so happy that we found this school. Love it!!!!

My children absolutely love going to PMA, so much so that they eagerly request to be picked up late just to spend extra time in the school's library. The school work at PMA is nothing short of exceptional. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be both challenging and engaging, ensuring that students are actively involved in their learning journey. My child comes home every day brimming with excitement, eager to share what they have learned. It is truly heartwarming to see how much they love school and how they consistently express their enthusiasm for the knowledge they are gaining. I wholeheartedly recommend PMA to any parent seeking an outstanding educational institution/daycare. The caring and dedicated teachers, coupled with the engaging and enriching education, make it an ideal place for children to thrive.
