Kinder Prep Montessori Nursery & Preschool in Brooklyn Heights

Our son has attended KinderPrep for the past 18 months and has had an unbelievably positive experience. For my son, the curriculum is thoughtful, enriching, and interesting. The staff is so kind and encouraging to him. He is truthfully excited to go to school each day and comes home talking about all that he learned. For my wife and me, we are so grateful for such a nurturing environment and caring staff. We also enjoy the frequent date nights that are offered, and all the other perks that make this place so special. From the teachers, administrators, and owners, KinderPrep is special and the only place I would consider sending my son. It's worth every penny :)

Kinder Prep is phenomenal! Our baby has been attending since he was about 7 months old and he’s been thriving. The teachers are all so lovely and helpful. Everyone is very responsive and they share great photo updates of the kids doing all sorts of fun activities and crafts. We couldn’t be happier.

We are very happy with Kinder Prep and the wonderful teachers and administrators. 2024 Edit: we now have our 2nd child at Kinder Prep and remain so happy with the safe and nurturing environment they provide for our children. Cannot say enough good things. We are so grateful for this amazing nursery school and its lovely staff.

Our daughter has been attending KinderPrep for a few months now (she began when she was seven months old) and all of our expectations have been exceeded— by a lot. We don’t have a single complaint. Everyone who works there is so kind and energetic and devoted. Even the littlest kids are taken outside every day. They do hilariously ambitious crafts and have non-stop music and dance classes it seems. The photos that get sent over the app throughout the day are numerous and darling. The facilities are remarkably clean and cheerful, and communication couldn’t be quicker or clearer. Our daughter is so happy to be dropped off each morning and is beaming at her teachers when we pick her up. We feel really lucky that she goes there!

Our 6 month old son has been going to Kinderprep for the last month and a half. As first time parents, Kinderprep feels like an extension of the family. All of the teachers in the infant classroom are so kind, communicative, and really care about each baby. One thing I love most is that once the child is able to sit up, they take the babies outside. Most daycares in the area wait until the child is at least a year old. It makes me so happy that our son gets fresh air while hanging out in Brooklyn Bridge Park all day with his little pals. We are so grateful for Kinderprep and really couldn’t be happier. Update: our son is approaching 2 years old and we love Kinderprep more than ever!

I am not really sure where to begin, Kinder Prep has really set the bar high in terms of quality. I feel that my daughter is well cared for and that her teachers and admin staff are as invested in her growth and development as we are. We’ve been here coming up on a year and it has been one of the best decisions we made a parents. My daughter knows all her ABC’s and letter sounds, she also counts in Spanish and knows a few Spanish words. To also note she isn’t even 2 yet. I could go on and on about kinder prep but I will simply end with I highly recommend.

Kinder Prep is excellent with caring staff and engaging curriculum for all ages. We can deeply trust the teachers and administrators to care for our children as their own. With both an infant and a toddler enrolled we have seen all aspects of the program through different ages. We would highly recommend Kinder Prep!

We have sent our 1 year old here since its opening and could not be more thrilled. The staff and teachers are attentive and caring. They are extremely communicative and provide pictures/videos throughout the day. My wife and I are always talking about the inventive curriculum and how much it enhances our son's day. The food selection is wonderful and relieves the burden of cooking so many meals for our son. Having Brooklyn Bridge Park across the street is amazing and the group utilizes it on a daily basis. We can't recommend Kinder Prep enough! Update: We recently went on a date night, where they kept our son (now 2) until after 8PM so we could have a dinner date to ourselves. This service was completely free. This amazing perk is yet another reason that we LOVE Kinder Prep in BK Heights!

We have been so happy with our decision to send our toddler to kinder prep daycare. The curriculum/special activities (soccer, science, cooking) are great; and a wonderful mix of structured (creative curriculum) and independent/tailored to the individual child (Montessori approach). Our child has learned a lot and developed close relationships with classmates and teachers. The fact that they are right by the park and take advantage of it, with the kids having free play and other classes/activities; is a big bonus! They offer thoughtful flexibility in drop off and pickup times, lunch and snacks are provided and pictures/communication is done well. We really appreciate these aspects. And they even surprised us with some bonuses like: the occasional date night which is so fun and so thoughtful. I highly recommend this daycare for quality of care, curriculum, convenience (location, hours of operation, provided meals/snacks) and great management/leadership.
