My daughter had the greatest time at Discovery camp this past summer. We flew in from Hawaii for her to attend and it did not disappointment. She learned so many outdoor skills, made lasting friendships, and months later is still talking about how it was her favorite camp ever. We're considering another trip next summer for TWO kids! Thank you KSS.

My daughter started to attend KSS Summer Camp in the summer of 2022. Consistently she LOVES the counselors from all over the world that she can speak english and spanish with, and she loves the activities. Do NOT send your kid to this camp in their best clothes. They are coming home every day after camp covered in dirt, dust, and whatever. Plan on sacrificing some clothing or designating it "camp clothes". Worth the experience. The activities this camp provides, especially to the older kids, are definitely Colorado activities: rock climbing, mountain hiking, SUPing on the reservoir, etc.

I would like to suggest an early summer enrollment for previous families. That might be less stressful for your current clients and help families get the session they would like their kids to go to, especially for families that have come for many years. I know we used to have that many years ago when I worked for KSS camps and it was highly appreciated by the families.

My son went for a 2-nights school field trip and the first thing he told us when came back was how horrible the food was. He didn't eat much tried but said everything was not tasting good beside the Taco, some kids ate nothing... about the place and activities: he loved it. I wish the KSS could see some reviews and the feedback they receive from the kids and consider chance the food options they are serving for something more fresh with variety.

Experience was pretty nice, just that the menu was bland and the food tasted weird

KSS might be the most wholesome place on planet Earth. The counselors are from all over the world and every one of them exudes positivity and compassion. My kids come back covered in dirt after being outdoors all day, and they almost have a glow about them. You can really see how humans were meant to be in nature.
