Alaya Preschool

i went to preschool here in 2014-2016 (i think) and absolutely loved it, teachers were amazing <3

Such a special preschool run by passionate and caring staff, lots of outdoor time on shaded play grounds, snacks cooked and baked on property and wonderful outings. Friendships are made here every day!

Alaya is a unicorn gem of a preschool and I feel so incredibly lucky my son had the chance to form his foundation and roots and the school. They have the best, most grounded teachers and staff and the entire school embodies their mission and core. I could not be more grateful for our time there. My only complaint is it doesn't go through high school! ;)

Alaya is the most magical preschool! As a graduate myself, I knew I wanted to send my children to Alaya too, which is one of the reasons we moved back to Boulder from Europe. The teachers care so deeply, and I know my child is in good hands. I love that it's a play based program, that they get outside everyday, and that they incorporate some little bits of mindfulness into their days. It's such a special place that we drive across town in order to attend. We love Alaya and the whole Alaya community!

We have absolutely loved having our daughter enrolled at Alaya. The care of the staff and the grounds itself are wonderful. We highly recommend.

To say that this preschool is life changing is an understatement. Our kiddo was enrolled in a more traditional preschool and was struggling with constant teacher turnover and a chaotic class environment. We were starting to see some concerning negative self-talk at home that prompted us to seek a change. At Alaya, he has flourished. He loves going to school every day. The teachers have been consistent, many have been there for 10 years or longer! It's the nurturing environment that all little ones deserve at this age. My only complaint is that we didn't find it early enough, and now he only gets one year here! Alaya changed our kiddo's life for the better, and we'll be forever grateful.

My son attends Alaya and I must say, it has been one of the best decisions we could have made for our family! It’s such a beautiful place with absolutely beautiful people. My son’s personality has just exploded since he started and his excitement for learning has only expanded. I would HIGHLY recommend Alaya to any parents out there looking for a wonderful place for their little ones!

A dream come true! We've moved a lot and so have had our son in two other preschool programs. Each of them felt like they were missing something. Alaya is the school I was hoping for and hadn't found until this year. It's a very warm, intentional, slow-paced environment that prioritizes play and honoring a child's natural rhythms. They truly love each child and demonstrate kindness in everything they do. My son comes home singing the sweetest songs and has new reverence for the planet and all beings. I love how they have sweet traditions and rituals like tea time every afternoon after lunch and before nap. We are so blessed to be able to have our son in an environment that feels like a second home with more adults to love on him. We love it so much that we're hoping to extend the experience with early education at Ziji, which is founded by former Alaya teachers. THANK YOU, Alaya!
