Heart and Hands Montessori

The reviews on here were super outdated, so I thought i would provide some recent color. First off: this school is amazing. Its cute, small, dedicated, loving, caring and engaged. They are focused on continuously improving, embody the Montessori philosophy in fun and cute ways and are just overall a really pleasant experience. Our son loves outdoors, loves to be challenged and this place meets his needs in every way. From the cooking classes, low turnover, walks in the beautiful park, to the engaging activities and incredible teachers...everything has been amazing. Susan is an excellent Director and engaged hands on (she thrives being in the classroom). Wendy (Toddler 1 lead) is one of the most kind and caring people we have ever met. They hire great assistants, minimize turnover, and are extremely communicative. We have looked at EVERY daycare and PreK in this area and I will tell you a place like this should not be taken for granted. When our son leaves this summer to move to pre-K we will be devastated, this place is special...just trust me.

Our son absolutely loves Hearts and Hands. The director and teachers are educated, kind, caring and consistent.

Employees are not paid overtime and are belittled by "Director". If you’re taking your kids to this establishment, get to know the teachers and director, before leaving your kids here. This lady should not be allowed to treat employees poorly.

Our two-year-old daughter attends Heart and Hands Montessori and we could not be happier with our decision to have her enrolled there. The facility, staff and curriculum are all wonderful. My daughter thoroughly enjoys each and every day that she spends there and I can see how much she is learning and how happy she is at the end of the day. All of the staff have been amazing. You can tell that they truly love their jobs and the opportunity to interact and teach these children in such a patient and gentle way. Susan, the director has also been great to deal with and I appreciate her strong background and knowledge when it comes to Montessori. Our daughter has built wonderful relationships with the teachers and other children in an incredibly enriching environment. We feel lucky to have found such a wonderful place for her to learn and grow!

Heart & Hands Montessori We have been so pleased with our time at Heart & Hands. We began at H&H during a very difficult season, when our oldest was diagnosed with cancer and we suddenly needed a full-time childcare for our baby. The staff welcomed us so warmly and went out of their way to make our transition peaceful. Our daughter thrived, and continues to!, during a time that has been very trying for us. Knowing she is in tender and nurturing hands is imperative! We’ve experience both the infant and toddler classrooms and find them both to be warm and loving, filled with engaging Montessori materials and kind teachers/ staff.The classrooms feel like home, maybe even more peaceful than our busy household! Sending our daughter there has been a great blessing to us. She loves her time at H&H and is eager to get ready for “school” each morning. We are so thankful for their attention to detail of each individual child- I know I can always ask specifics about my child’s day and get a specific answer. The staff is also readily available during the day for communication. They have been encouraging and supportive through the different stages of development and have worked alongside us as parent to raise- up our daughter and help support her in different ways- ie, crying at drop- off, not wanting to buckle in to her seatbelt, etc. the teachers offer insight and suggestions that are helpful! I would recommend Heart & Hands Montessori to anyone who wants a home away from home for their young children.

Our first kid started in H&H at 6 months old (nido) and we all loved it there. It's small daycare, so it's a very personalized care, with very professional, caring, friendly, and loving care givers. They have been a second home for our little one and you can see the kids are super happy and healthy there, we love it and highly recommend it.

I toured many daycare facilities in the area and Heart & Hands stood out to me the second I walked in the door. The staff is competent and caring and the facility is a wonderful place for little ones to learn. I love how much time they spend outside and the positive relationships my son has built with his teachers and classmates. We are grateful to Susan and the rest of the staff!
