Happy Valley Children's Ranch Preschool

Our son has had such a great experience at Happy Valley. With an education that prioritized play, he has had fun and grown so much! We love the outdoor activities, farm animals and friendly staff. Thank you Julie, Rachel, Colleen, and all of Happy Valley!

We started with Happy Valley this year for pre-k and have loved it so much. All three of my kids have attended different preschools and this was the smoothest experience we’ve had of the three. Their aunt also went there as a child, this place has a long legacy that I hope continues for a long time!

We will always remember fond memories of Happy Valley Preschool. The teacher, the animals and all the great friends we met. My child attended preschool here in 2014 and loved it.

Happy Valley has been a great preschool for our son. He comes home excited about the day, experiencing new friends, the farm animals, and growing his early skills from letters and numbers to social and emotional. Julie and his teachers are very actively involved and are creating a positive and fun environment for young kids!

To say that we are fortunate to have found Happy Valley Children's Ranch is an understatement. We are beyond blessed. We had a difficult time finding a "fit" for our youngest. With two older siblings you would think we would easily know the program, but each child is different. And HVCRP acknowledges that to the fullest. Our son was identified with having sensory processing disorder. As we began the process to find a preschool program for his next year of schooling we were hesitant to "reveal" this information to directors. Many area schools we called would immediately dismiss us and say they wouldn't be a good fit because they we "red flagged" with our child's label. We met with the director, Julie, and immediately felt comfortable and welcome. We further felt safe to discuss our child's specific needs and she was ecstatic to work with him. Happy Valley is inclusive. They went above and beyond to listen to our specific needs. We opted to not wait and sent our son this year. He is A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT child...in the best way. He loves school and can't wait to go back- whereas before he never wanted to go and didn't feel like he has friends. His teacher is no nonsense. She provides clear structure, routine, and discipline in a firm way that our son needed and thrives on. They also are caring and invested- they share feedback. They have solid expectations- which I think are often overlooked. We know our son is cared for, encouraged, and challenged in the best way. He is INCLUDED (inclusivity is rare at this age) and is shining more than ever in and out of the classroom. Preschool is often overlooked as an easy placement that seems to not matter for their future- but I couldn't stress more what a foundation it is for our child finding his way. We love Happy Valley!

I've had kids at Happy Valley for 3+ years and we just love it. The new director has made so many positive changes and her ability to connect with kids and help navigate issues is really impressive. They are so patient and willing to work with you on anything. Such a great neighborhood preschool!

Happy Valley Children's Ranch Preschool is a magical place! My daughter has excelled academicly as well as socially. The farm animal element ads a unique and fun feature to the school and the rest of the saff is a pleasure to connect with. I've enjoyed the engagement the school has within our community and I would recommend this preschool as a wonderful early learning facility.

We love Happy Valley! New owners have been great. We had our daughter in a larger place and moved her here and it’s been such an amazing change in her. She goes daily so happily. She loves the animal or as she calls it the farm. We also love that there is such a great resource when it comes to kids big emotions. Julie has given us great advice and has been able to work with our daughter in the room too.
