Happy Flower Montessori

I really love this school! I can only say good things about the teachers and staff that work here. My kids love to go here everyday and I see the way that my kids like their teachers and the staff. They feel comfortable with them. I’m beyond lucky I found this school!

My toddler and infant started attending Happy Flower Montessori in Jan 2022. I knew it was the right daycare for them when I went to do a tour and my two year old was super excited and comfortable. He doesn’t usually like unfamiliar places and panics. So when I saw how much he liked it , I knew he had to go here. The atmosphere is perfect. Rozita and all of the staff are friendly and know how to approach the kids. I know when my kids are here that I don’t have to worry about them and I know they are learning and enjoying themselves. It really is a great daycare!!

UPDATE I am a real person and my child really did go here. It doesn't surprise me that they would dismiss this review and try to deflect responsibility. That's how this place operates. You don't have to believe me. You can go to the Texas Health and Human Services and see their reports yourself. This "school" traumatized my child. When I asked about their day they would tell me "my friends hit me." But I wouldn't get any information from Mrs. Rosita about it. Sometimes her response would be " well I wasn't in the room." Then it escalated to where kids were verbally saying things to my child. Things that my kid is still sensitive about. My child will specify names of kids that were mean. I requested a parent conference numerous times with Rosita and I wouldn't even get a response. But in person she would say things like "we can work together" but there was no working with her or the teachers. Even now my kid is in public school and when I say it's time for school I have to reassure them DAILY that it is not Happy Flower. They constantly compare the schools saying the "new school" is a "happy family" and Happy Flower was not. The curriculum they have is ridiculous as well. My kid would do the same activities day after day. It looked like a form of torture. I would get progress reports saying my child is behind. But in reality they were doing advanced reading and math at home. Even now they have been tested and placed in the gifted program at school. This place is a daycare pretending to be a school. They have no amenities for special needs, disabilities, or gifted children. The teachers aren't even state certified educators. They don't have a counselor or a nurse. They have no resources to properly function as a "school" please please if your child is disabled, gifted, or has any kind of special needs DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. Also the last few weeks that my kid was here they brought home Covid. We quarantined for 2 weeks, my kid returned to immediately bring home Strep. It pains me to live with the guilt each day knowing I dropped my child off here and it was a traumatic experience.

I've been with them for 2 months and I love this place, it's clean organized and manager is easy to reach, I highly recommend this daycare.

We are so lucky to be neighbors with this wonderful school. We knew this was the school for us after our first visit. Rozita, the director, connected instantly with our daughter, who can definitely be a handful. She absolutely thrives there and has learned SO MUCH over the last year! Not only has she learned the basics like colors, numbers, and her letters, but she has also learned how to clean up after herself, how to resolve conflicts, and is able to hold conversations with grown-ups. I'm also really impressed with how the school has handled the pandemic. Rozita has a medical background and is very knowledgeable and cautious, which I really appreciate. She is good at putting my mind at ease when it comes to public health concerns. And what I love most of all is that Rozita and all of her teachers genuinely love these children. On top of teaching, they play, sing, protect, and nurture.

We found Happy Flower completely by luck. We moved here from Oregon and I found a rental right across the street from this cute Montessori school. We met with Miss Rozita and enrolled our little one over a year ago, and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Miss Rozita and her staff really engage with the kids. Learning, playing, really cool additional programs that you can choose like SOCCER, YOGA Etc. We will be keeping our little one here until she is ready to start Kindergarten.. Which I believe she will be WELL EQUIPPED to excel due to her time at Happy Flower. We couldn't be happier. Thank you!
