Ms. Shanel, Ms. Brianna, Ms. Danielle are amazing, empathetic, professional, knowledgeable leaders at this fine early childhood center. They earned my trust as a parent and truly embody the Guidepost ethos. I am blown away by the development and skills my 3 year old acquired within two months at Guidepost Somerset. Kudos!

My daughter was treated like a little angel always and the teachers were loving and compassionate with all the children. She really flourished here and I wouldn’t recommend any other early learning center. Amazing development I’ve seen in her since she started here.

This school has been such a gift to our family! Our son has been attending for almost 3 years now, and the guides and staff have been so helpful and kind throughout our journey! Even transitional moments that presented us with challenges have been met with open communication and support. We are very thankful!

Horror daycare. Don't bring your kids there. Our daughter was there for two hours and we had to take her out. The guides show no love or any care for the kids. What a sad place. And now they even want to keep our money. Over $1000 for two hours of mistreating our precious girl.

My husband and I were excited to enroll our little one in this daycare; however, after the first couple of hours after witnessing the appalling treatment of our child, We realized this was not the proper place for any child to spend hours and hours in, with personnel who completely lack any form of emphatic behavior toward these children. Our child, during her cries, just kept being shoved toward a chair in the corner with complete indifference toward her emotions. Not one smile or a sign of affection from any of the guides to help her transition into a new environment. We also witness different guides mistreating a couple of other children during the short time there. We do not recommend this daycare to Anyone. We Also expected Our money back after the horrible experience our little one had to undergo during her two hours at this daycare.

Guidepost Montessori Somerset has been a gem for our son, and family! If you are looking for childcare with a high level of order, cleanliness and safety, then do your child a favor and check them out. They also offer a unique take on teaching children life skills and lessons. Our son was safe, secure and happy while at Guidepost Montessori Somerset, and during a pandemic at that. The teachers, guides and administrators care so much and it shows in their demeanor, frequent meetings and check ins with families, and how calm and settled the children are. Very grateful for them and the community they create.

We’ve been sending our daughter to Guidepost now for a little over a month and she is so excited to be there each and every day. She literally jumps out of her car seat when we arrive and runs right into her classroom. She loves the other children in her class and she absolutely loves the staff. As this is our first child, my husband and I were anxious of getting her started in daycare but the staff has really made the transition an easy one. Would absolutely recommend the school to anyone! Our daughter started at a little over 16 months.

We started our son Ari at Guidepost at the beginning of March, when he was 13 months old. Prior to that, we had family caring for our son. We were very worried about the transition from family care to daycare. He hadn’t even been out of the house that much because of the pandemic. I am so incredibly happy that we made the decision to put him at Guidepost 5 days a week. He has learned SO much since starting “school.” He now knows some sign language, cleans up his toys on his own, has table manners, and is talking/babbling more than ever. I know he feels safe throughout the day because he comes home happy. In the mornings, Ari brings his backpack to the door because he wants to go to school. He really loves it there. The staff is also so welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable going to anyone at Guidepost to ask questions or share concerns. We are so grateful to everyone at Guidepost!

This place is no longer Bright Horizons. It has changed into Guidepost Montessori and my children enjoy it here. I first want to add that, if you are like me, you are a parent that does extensive research because leaving your child with just anyone doesn't settle for me. I looked in to TWELVE daycares/schools in the surrounding areas of Somerset, Piscataway, Edison and Metuchen to find the best fit for me and my family. Guidepost Montessori by far stood out amongst the rest. There is no other school that teaches the practical life skills curriculum and montessori method like Guidepost. During my initial tour, you could sense the professonalism of the facility amongst the rest. I love that they allow the children to choose what they want to do/learn day by day. It is not your average school that has the same curriculum for every student. Each child is taught to their standards and their likings and that's is so necessary in little children. Whenever I walk into Guidepost, the guides and staff are always so professional. You always see each guide being so attentive and nurturing to their students. There is never a moment you walk in and they are not doing their job. I have went on several tours and was instantly turned off due to their staff not being attentive and/or using the cell phones. Guidepost is NOT like this at all. I was instantly attracted to their Nido room when I saw Ms. Gioia sitting and clapping with the babies. You can see the love and care she has for each and everyone of them. I knew I would be in good hands leaving my baby here. The facility. is also VERY clean! I love that they do inside shoes and outside shoes and for the NIDO class room they wear shoe covers to keep the floors clean for crawling children. If you're looking into Guidepost, you won't be disappoint. This is definitely a great place to have your children. My oldest son is in the mixed age Childrens House class and when I come to pick him up he gets upset and says "He doesn't want to leave." At Guidepost, you will be well taken care of. You will be well at ease knowing that your children are in good hands at Guidepost.
