Guidepost Montessori at Longmont

Our 11-month son was recently at Guidepost and the new administration has been so wonderful. We fully trusted them to take good care of him - instructions were always followed around feeding (something that we have not experienced at other local daycares!) and the guides were so warm with him. I highly recommend checking the school out if you need care in Longmont.

Since the new director started there about 6 months ago, I'm more than confident when dropping my children off that they're well taken care of. He has done a good job of building a good staff who truly cares about the kids. my 4 year old has learned so much there with the daily activities and work areas they have in the classroom. I also know my 1 year old is being loved and cared for in the nido room while also learning new skills with the activities in his room.

My child has been going here for a couple months. The teachers are all great and the director, Taylor, is very helpful and friendly. The facility is kept clean and everyone there seems to truly care about the children.

Our family has been a part of the Guidepost community since June of 2023. Our son has thrived at this institution & we couldn't be happier with the placement. I was very discerning when it came time to choose a 'daycare' for my child as I transitioned back to work. The philosophy of learning works well for his personality & we have seen how well his development has progressed in this program. Despite the leadership/staff turnover that occurred earlier this summer, my child has continued to be supported in his environment. It means so much to us that the new administration & staff are committed to making this school work well! His Lead Guide is incredible, as well as many lovely Assistant Guides. Taylor (the new Director) & Ms Jas (Ass. Director) are phenomenal & have really put in a lot of hard work to get the school back to the highest Montessori standards. We fully intend to enroll our infant in the Nido room when they arrive!

It's a good school. My son has been with them for a month and I have felt the changes that the Montessori teaching that they apply in the School has made. In addition, the facilities are clean and suitable for children; with toys, materials and teaching utensils for proper education. Mr Tylor, the director, is a friendly person and answers all the questions we may have. They have a system where they report on the child's progress and make daily updates, as well as send photos of our children's progress. In conclusion, it is an excellent option for the first steps in the education of our children.

My toddler started at Guidepost in July, and the experience has been remarkably smooth! Although I was initially concerned because he’s a bit shy and hesitant with new people, the teachers have been incredibly patient and kind. He’s already learning valuable skills like "washing dishes," cleaning, and expanding his vocabulary. The school also makes learning fun with activities such as water days and themed weeks, which he thoroughly enjoys. The new administration has been exceptional, making thoughtful improvements to ensure the children are well cared for. It’s comforting to see my son excited about playing with his new friends and knowing he’s in such a supportive and enriching environment. One minor suggestion I have is for more consistent updates via the app. As a working mom, I’d really appreciate seeing regular pictures and updates about his day to stay connected with what he’s up to.

I am a new parent to Guidepost, as well as an employee. From being a parent to a guide as well it has been such an interesting experience. To begin with I am new to the montessori community and didn’t know what to expect, my daughter was such a work in progress with meeting new people and learning to spread her wings more. With the staff in the Nido she has gotten her wings and has become more independent, the community is so welcoming and supportive. I am a breastfeeding mom who also works full time and i would like to mention how amazing it is that there is a specific breastfeeding room that has made me and my daughter feel better about our situation. I highly recommend Guidepost, as it has changed me and my daughters life for the better!
