Dahlia Montessori School

Our daughter is being exposed to (and absorbing) a host of unique concepts. The way that Montessori teachings blend enrichment with play creates a noticeable and lasting shift in development for parent and child alike. We are all being exposed to an innovative yet simple approach to growth and learning. As a first time mom I feel reassured that she is being nurtured and inspired while attending Dahlia. We are endlessly grateful to Renee and Katie for their compassion, time and care along with our fellow parents and children in the community 😊. It truly takes a village.

The teachers at Dahlia provide a warm, calm and nurturing school environment which has helped our son feel comfortable and confident. He is now learning so much, making friends and coming home a happy boy!

It’s been amazing to watch our son grow & thrive at Dahlia since last year. Katie & Renee bring so much warmth, love and guidance to the kids experience. The school has been such a great & loving addition to the Allenhurst neighborhood. It has been fun watching the community grow and benefit from the addition of this little school on Main Street.

Dahlia Montessori is such an incredible and beautiful space for children to start their time in a learning and working environment. Katie and Renee do such amazing individualized work with the kids and it truly shows and transfers outside of the classroom, into everyday life and at home. As a parent I couldn’t be anymore happy with choosing to send our daughter here. Everyday she’s so eager to teach us the valuable lessons she’s learned and mastered while at Dahlia during the day. I cannot speak highly enough about this warm and welcoming establishment. Dahlia is a beautiful treat for both parents and children.

We had such a beautiful experience at Dahlia! Attentive, patient and warm teachers, easy and transparent communication, and lots of growth for our son. So grateful to have had this as an option for him to gain confidence before heading off to elementary!

Renee was my daughter’s primary teacher for two years. Renee was just wonderful, and my daughter thrived while in her class. She taught my daughter to read and write and do complex math, and most importantly to us, she learned kindness and how to be a constructive part of a community. My daughter is 7 now, and doing so well, and she still talks about Renee all the time. She recently dedicated a book she wrote to Renee. I would highly recommend Renee and Katie and Dahlia!

Renee and Katie have poured their hearts into creating a preschool that's more than just a school - it's a warm, nurturing family. Dahlia, a proud part of our local Wildflower Montessori community, is a place where kids learn more than just reading and writing. They learn how to be confident, independent, and compassionate - skills that will help them grow into responsible adults. We've trusted Dahlia with the education of two of our kiddos already, and we can't wait for our youngest to join the Dahlia family when she's ready. We simply adore everything about this school.
