Havenwood Montessori School

Havenwood Montessori is the best fit for our family. Mrs. Belen and Mrs.Gaby have a hands on approach to learning based on Montessori philosophy. Belen has created a family environment that enables children to develop social and life skills. One of the best things about the school is consistent teachers and the relationships that are built. It is a blessing to have Belen, her family, and the school in our lives. It has molded my son into a confident, independent, content, focused, and balanced person.

Havenwood Montessori has been an absolute godsend to my family. My daughter has flourished this year because of the wonderful program Ms.Belen and Ms.Gabby have put together. My daughter has not only learned academic skills, but social and life skills. We have toured and tried two other daycares in Howell and nothing else compares to Havenwood Montessori. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of their school family. I recommend them to anyone who will listen. They are fabulous!

My 4 year old son had a wonderful experience at Havenwood Montessori. My husband and I travel throughout the country for work every few months and it’s difficult for us to find a school that we trust with our child. Our schedule changes sometimes and they were accommodating with our adjustments. We loved the safe and supportive environment the school provided that when our job contracts were extended, we didn’t think twice about continuing my son’s enrollment. Ms. Belen’s dedication towards teaching is clearly seen. She is very encouraging and my son showed more independence while being in her school. She is a wonderful teacher and has a heart for children. We also enjoyed the fun and creative school events to engage both the students and parents. The staff provided a positive and caring school culture and honestly they made you feel like family. We highly recommend Havenwood and are glad to have been a part of the community.

We have been going to Havenwood Montessori school since June, when my son started there. It has been such a great learning experience not only for him, but for myself as well. The staff goes above and beyond to understand your child to help your child and to love your child. I am so happy that we chose this place for my son’s first experience with school. I drop him off every day and know that he is safe and cared for and loved and is learning.

Our 3 year old son is currently enrolled at Havenwood Montessori in Howell and we couldn’t be happier. He attends 5 half days a week and is learning so much. He comes home excited to tell us the sounds he knows or show us how well he can write his name. The students are learning life skills along with academics that will carry them the rest of their school career. Our son has shown growth at home because of the respect and values he receives from the teachers. Ms. Belén and the other teachers each have a special rapport with our son and he is excited to see them each day. As a teacher myself, I highly recommend sending your child to Havenwood Montessori in Howell. You will not be disappointed!

We have had the BEST experience with Havenwood Montessori! My 3 year old son loves going to school every day and can't wait to tell me what he learned when I pick him up. The entire staff is so loving and caring and we could not have asked for a better pre school experience. Highly recommend this school and already looking forward to sending our younger children there next.

Fantastic learning environment, happy kids, warm and personable teachers. Feels more like family than school. Skills for independence and discovery are emphasized. Highly recommended for the best start to an early education!

This is honestly the BEST program ever with the absolute greatest teachers. Our children learn so much about everything from reading, writing, numbers, learning Spanish, and geography to getting to cook in class and hosting parents for breakfasts, and to learning how to be independent and respectful to building friendships that can last a lifetime and having tons of time for play...well this program is nothing short of perfect. And you can't forget about the family feel - Mrs. Gaby and Ms. Belen constantly have family events that bring us all together for gorgeous shows, International Night, Thanksgiving Dinner, birthday celebrations, Breakfast, and more. They're constantly interacting with parents and only want to help your child succeed. Hands down the best.

I stumbled upon Havenwood Montessori School through a conversation with a colleague. I am a 3rd grade teacher, so finding a good child care service for my son was my top priority. The Havenwood Montessori School has EXCEEDED my expectations in so many ways. This school stands out for their close communication and connection to the families, dedication and LOVE to their students, and POSITIVE interactions with all. Ms. Belen greets my son each day with her warm and nurturing character. No matter the kind of morning she had, good or bad, she leaves it all at the door and puts on a beautiful smile. She communicates daily and always makes time for any questions I have , even at night!! My son has made so much progress since attending the HWM School and he is always so happy to be there. I am so thankful that I found them. I highly recommend this school.

Absolute best school in the area. Ms. belen goes above and beyond in every aspect of being there for my son. I have noticed a huge shift all around in my son since he started at the school. I couldn’t be more grateful that he is having the experience he is so early in his life! Plus they host the must fun and beautiful events! 10/10 recommend
