Arborland Montessori Children's Academy - Valencia Campus

COME CHECK THE SCHOOL OUT, YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED. :) I don't really write reviews, because I realized, when a school is good, there's no need for advertisement, but I guess for those who don't get access to the word of mouth within our community, hopefully you can read our reviews to see how great this school is. Our two kids started with Arborland just this summer 2021 in the bilingual language program. Initially it was the program that we chose, but were so fortunate that we found the school by that chance. Ms. Salzman and Shi Lao Shi are absolutely amazing, great talents in teaching with big hearts to share with our kids. You can feel the love and care coming from them. Ms. Martinez greets our kids and parents daily with big smiles and is always ready to help on all questions. All other teachers I am sure are the same. We are thankful for Arborland Valencia for nourishing our children's minds and nurturing them with love and education. I love how realistic they are in teaching our kids respect and discipline. They teach, not pamper. It's such a refreshing thing to know they care to teach rather than just to pacify. It's only been a few months, and our kids have learned so much! They also have additional classes like piano, art, gymnastic, dance, swimming, ballet etc, as well as morning and afterschool childcare for working parents. On campus hot food daily. Definitely, a one stop shop, a wonderful one. :) Look no further, come check it out and you will feel safe and happy to send your children here. :) The cost is rather very affordable, compared to other schools, and also taking into account what they do for our kids. Love all the staffs here! Will continue to let our kids grow in this amazingly friendly educational environment. :)

Our kids were enrolled at Arborland for over three years. We initially chose this school for its dual language program and close proximity to my wife's work, only to find out that what we got was so much more. From the friendly front office staff and wonderful educators to the high academic standards and plethora of extracurricular activities, we were amazed at what Arborland offered. Their primary teachers, Ms. Salzman and Shi Lao Shi, were outstanding, perhaps some of the best educators that we've encountered. Our kids not only excelled academically but they also learned how to be responsible little citizens and a good mount of Mandarin. When the kids were old enough to begin public school in Irvine, we chose to keep them at Arborland because we've been so pleased with their education. We eventually had to transfer them to a school closer to our new home in Coto de Caza and after my wife was no longer working in Fullerton. My wife was still making the one hour commute to Arborland for almost a year! The children are now enrolled in the top charter school in Orange County and it pales in comparison to Arborland. There's no doubt that our children would still be enrolled at Arborland had our home and my wife's work situations had not changed. This truly is a wonderful school. We're happy our kids were at least able to have the chance to learn from some of the best educators during their most formative years. Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Arborland had already exceeded our high expectations before the pandemic. Swiftly adapting to a full-time, interactive, online curriculum demonstrated the true professionalism and commitment of the teachers and staff. Proceeding with the uncharted group chat spring recital was an impressive risk that confidently aired live with deserved success that showcased the spirit of the students, faculty and parents. My wife and I are continually relieved that we made the right educational decision that is consistently reinforced by our childrens motivations, progress, and the values that Arborland is instilling into our blossoming boys.

Arborland Montessori Children’s Academy is a fantastic school. The children within our household have been in attendance at Arborland for the past four years. In this time we have watched our children flourish and advance - Amazingly so! The teachers are friendly, approachable, and very attentive to the needs of parents and children alike. We appreciate the variety of after school programs available and the reasonableness of their extended hours for childcare. Specifically, I would like to state that I have witnessed how resilient and adaptable the faculty have been during these distance learning times. The school has not missed a beat in adapting their curriculum to meet the demands of distance learning - Their program was ready and rolled out within a week. During these trying times the school has remained resourceful and impactful in providing a constructive learning environment for our children. I am currently a college student, and I went to Arborland Montessori for 11 years at the Valencia campus. I truly believe the educational experience that I had at Arborland prepared me so well for transitioning into middle school, high school, and then college. The one-on-one teaching style between the teacher and student allowed me to easily comprehend my course material and develop strong relationships with my teachers. Arborland helped me realize the importance of collaboration, leadership, and responsibility. My experience at this school drastically improved my public speaking skills and confidence of giving speeches in a classroom setting. I highly recommend parents consider bringing their children to this loving community. I know many of my teachers are still working there, so I want to give a huge thanks to Ms. Cole, Ms. Salzman, Ms. Shepard, Ms. Gershfeld, Ms. Candy, Ms. Simms, and my mother Ms. Cynthia.

My son started in Arborland when he was four years old in the Primary program. He was able to learn lessons at his own pace, and was ahead in reading and math by the time he was in kindergarten. My daughter followed her brother's step five years later when she was about 29 months old, and she is graduating from elementary in a week. We have been with Arborland for almost thirteen years now. The teachers and the staffs are so amazing and dedicated to their jobs, never hesitate to help out when we are in need. Most of all, the students are so confident of themselves because they are well prepared and are ready to face and conquer all the obstacles ahead. The recitals, science fairs, science camps, international cultural day and other activities taught these students how to research, explore different subjects and most of all, the public speaking skill of the students are just AMAZING. We are so confident with what Arborland have provided to our family, we have decided to enroll my daughter in Arborland's new junior high program, with the help and support from the Arborland family, we know she will go further and be closer to her dreams. This is an Excellent Montessori- “one stop shop” with not only academics but a list of extracurricular activities. My son started going to Arborland Montessori Valencia campus August 2018 and he absolutely loves this school. His teachers Mrs. Salzman and Ms. Zoe are amazing, attentive and definitely foster my son’s interest. He made very nice friends and the entire school makes you feel like family. Parents, teachers Ms. Linda, Dr. Chen are all so warm and kind, plus very attentive. We are very sad that we only got to spend 1 year here. I wish I could take everyone with us when we relocate😢. We miss you all already but I highly recommend Arborland especially now that they’re planning on having a junior high level to the school. Keep up the amazing “customer service” Arborland❤️

My son started at Arborland Valencia Campus a year ago in the preschool program. Previously, he was enrolled in another local preschool where he was starting to get into trouble and my husband and I felt he needed a new environment. We have been so happy with the progress he's made in the past year. His preschool teacher has been patiently working with him and he now feels empowered to take on new challenges. He comes home from school saying, "I had a triple awesome day!" We were so happy with our experience that we also enrolled our older daughter in the elementary program this school year. She had previously been in public school and was doing well, but she is absolutely thriving at Arborland. The elementary teachers are caring and supportive, but also professional and knowledgeable. The school-wide International Culture Day was an amazing experience, and we have also enjoyed recitals/programs put on by the students at Halloween and during the winter Holidays. Arborland Valencia is smaller than the Hughes campus, but it is a warm, welcoming place with a wonderful mix of families. Thinking about how much this school has impacted our lives in a short time brings tears to my eyes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aborland Valencia to any family who is looking to give their child a wonderful education with a focus on empowerment, independence, social skills, and creativity.
