Gateway Montessori & Preschool

My son had been here since he was 3 years old, now that he's graduating and off to 1st grade at Gardenhill elementary school. Just can't say enough about the great job that Ms Ruwani and Ms Elizabeth had done for my son to nurture him and care for his well-being. I highly recommend Gateway Montessori School for your childcare needs.

We’ve had 2 kiddos enrolled here for the past 2 years, and have been very happy with the school. Gateway is run by a loving and involved owner and a very highly qualified Montessori director. Although teacher turnover can happen (as it does in many daycares), we’ve always been happy that there are consistent and familiar faces during times of change. The current staff have all been long-time trusted employees, and we appreciate them for their loving support of our kids! They send pictures of classroom activities throughout the week, which I absolutely love receiving. We are most concerned that our littles have a fun and supportive place to play and grow, but we were also pleasantly surprised to see how much academics they are learning at an early age. Our oldest recognized written letters by age 3, and was sounding out simple words and doing basic addition by age 4. They have fun activities for the holidays, including an adorable Christmas pageant, and a fun summer schedule including water days and a music teacher. Although the combined classroom layout is unique, it was one of the things we most appreciate, because there is a sense of accountability. In other preschools that we toured there may only be one teacher in a classroom for most of the day, and you just can never be 100% certain of what goes on. I like that at Gateway there are always a minimum of 2 teachers present and available because of the dual classroom set-up. Overall we recommend this preschool… a loving and supportive place for our kids to grow😀

My daughter has been attending here for about 2yrs. All the teachers have been amazing. My little one is met with love and patience as she navigates through her curiosity, development and some pretty dramatic tantrums. I can thank her teachers and caregivers enough for everything that they do. I am fortunate to have found this place

My son has been at this school since he was about 5 months old and the teachers have always been great here. They are all very caring and know all the children even if the child is not in their class. The projects they do in class has really helped my son to learn everything from the alphabet, counting, shapes, colors, and even potty training. The way the teachers teach the children is in a fun and hands on way and it always look like they are enjoying themselves while also learning. He is always excited to show me all the things he did in class at the end of the week. I cannot say enough about all the teachers there they really do a wonderful job and I always feel safe dropping him off there!

My daughter Prisha has been going there for 2years now. Good care and education by their teacher Miss Han and the owner.

My son has been going to gateway Montessori since he was 7 months old and is now 3 and we absolutely love this school! My son has learned so much throughout the years at gateway Montessori and Mrs. Ruwani and Miss Maggie are absolutely amazing and have always took great care of my son. We love gateway so much!

I used to have both my kids here but now only my youngest attends since my oldest is in school already. We’ve been attending for a little over 2 years and Ms. Ruwani has been the best and so have the staff. As someone who is divorced they have respected both parents at pick up and have made the process better. My youngest loves coming here and they always keep me updated and I get to see pictures of my baby during the day. I definitely 10/10 recommend

Very bad day care took my son here and on the second day he was injured on the head with a huge bump and they texted me an hour after letting me know super bad communication and not proffesional at all dont recommend this place
