We love AMC so much! My daughter got excited every morning being dropped off which should say a lot because not every kid feels happy leaving their parents to go to daycare. The women are so nice and caring! Please send your kids here if you can!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about American Montessori Campus. AMC was my lifeline when transitioning from maternity leave back to work for both my children. The teachers were so wonderful and made the transition as smooth and as painless as possible. My daughter and son have benefitted tremendously from AMC. They have learned good manners and behavior. They are academically advanced when compared to their peers. Most importantly they love themselves and their parents and believe in themselves. My kids have flourished because of the leadership and sacrifice of the staff at AMC and I am honestly indebted to them. I can give no higher a recommendation for a Montessori than to AMC. Way to go! Y’all are rockstars! Much love, always!

Genuine review from a parent who really wanted to like this school. Pros: - good academically speaking - my 4.5 year old can already write letters, numbers, count to 10 and read short words - very creative work, we've gotten some of the most beautiful artworks for mother's day, father's day and other events - they have a gym - good option when weather doesn't allow for outdoor play - older classrooms are equipped with a large modern smartboard - they bring fun events every now and then, which includes musicians, a mobile farm, firemen, etc. Cons: - poor communication between parents and teachers. The school doesn't use any app, nor do they provide a daily report of the kid's day. The only way to know what your kid is up to is to call the teachers or check their public Facebook page - overall communication from the school is poor. We were not informed when our kid changed class, never received a formal presentation of the new classroom (curriculum, teachers' names, background, etc.), never received an incident report when the kids came back with boo-boos, and the list goes on. Communication from the school was limited to a monthly calendar - it's end of October and parents are still not allowed into the school - large class size (26 kids in a room) - not much room for free play within the classroom environment, most of the time is dedicated to worksheets

My daughter attended AMC for 4 years - from their toddler program through her graduation from their private Kindergarten program. She had some great teachers and made some great friends over these years! My daughter learned so much and was more than prepared to start elementary school! I am a huge proponent of the Montessori method and this school is a genuine Montessori school (unlike some that use it as an excuse to not have structure). Aside from the excellent academics, I love that they bring in extracurricular programs (such as dance and athletics) as options for kids to participate in during the school day. I also love that they have a gymnasium, so kids can still run around and play even when the weather isn’t cooperating. Thank you AMC for caring for my daughter, we’ll miss you!

The older lady on the front desk is very unprofessional and disrespectful

We had a great experience with this school. Our six year old attended only for part of the year. He struggled with English speaking since we lived abroad for a long time. Yet the teachers at American Montessori made him feel very welcome. He made friends, learned a great deal, and genuinely going to school each day. I can enthusiastically recommend American Montessori to other parents.

American Montessori Campus lovingly called AMC is a great school to start your children at. The staff is very friendly and works with you on your schedule and needs. During these though times they have always been welcoming and took great caution in keeping the children safe. AMC was very helpful when I was looking for a school for my child’s need at the very last moment and took him. Thank you AMC and I wish you and your staff good wishes for the future.

The WORST customer service I’ve ever received from a school. The man first hung up on me twice and after calling the third time he finally answered. Upon answering I told him I had a few questions and he told me to go. I asked if they only do full months and he said no, we will work with you on that. Then proceeding to explain my situation, he speaks over me and then says oh no no no we can’t do that. All I was asking was for 2 weeks at a time, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. That’s the set schedule that I have with her out of state father. Then, after asking him why he wouldn’t work with me it was because of 10 years of experience and that the kid was going to act out or act poorly. I have a very wonderful, smart kid, which would be the reason in spending the extra money to put her in a Montessori. I thought he was very rude and I’m genuinely confused how they received the award of “Best Montessori of Plano” with their current customer service.

My family and I hit the JACKPOT with AMC. I was so scared to leave my 12 week old baby with complete strangers for 40 hours per week. They did EVERYTHING they could to put me at ease. Over these last 12 months, they have become part of our family. My son absolutely LOVES them and I can see they love him too. I’m so thankful for all these ladies. If you need a place to send your child, this is definitely the place!
