Remuera Montessori

I can’t express enough how wonderful this Montessori is. We were fortunate to be referred here by a close friend whose children also thrived in this environment. My daughter is very attached to me, and I was skeptical that any school would be able to help her adjust. However, within just a few days, she settled in beautifully. I am truly impressed by the dedication and hard work of the entire staff. Their care and commitment to each child's growth are evident in everything they do. I’m excited to watch my daughter continue to flourish and grow over the coming years at this amazing Montessori!

I can't say enough good things about Remuera Montessori! From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that this school fosters a nurturing and inspiring environment for children. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and passionate, truly taking the time to understand each child's unique needs and learning style.

Both my little guys went through Montessori preschool. The teachers are patient and have a gentle approach in helping each child with their individual needs. I can not praise this preschool enough they went above and beyond in trying to help my children. Working together with MOE and therapists, open to any feedback for the benefit of the child. Without their help, support and understanding my little guy would have been diagnosed much later. They have a passion for children and our family is so incredibly grateful for their care and love.

I highly recommend Remuera Montessori center as the amount of individual attention to my son was paramount. Following the classic Montessori program, the school provided structured education where the children learn in their own pace, not rushed, not boring. The environment is always very calm and the teachers really listen to the children and attend to their needs. My son has received the extensive knowledge on linguistics, math, geography, nature and science and he gained a confidence during monthly 'show and tells', where he learned to speak up in front of the audience. Practical skills were taught daily and my boy got to be quite a helper at home, from folding the laundry to cooking simple meals. And for all these years of being a part of Remuera Montessori my son went on several excursions, from the mountain field trips, a visit to the library and a bus trip to Auckland Zoo. It was very exciting and very well organized. Highlighted safety of all the participants provided the best outcome of the excursions when everyone could relax and enjoy the day. The teachers are very calm, yet enthusiastic in teaching methods, attentive and caring. They work as a team and get along with each other perfectly and the kids can see that. Remuera Montessori was the best choice for my boy and it laid the strongest foundation for his future learning

I had a great difficulty finding the right childcare as my son wasn't settling for the childcare centers that I have taken him into. I almost gave up before I found this little gem on the way. They welcomed us with open arms. For my surprise my son said "Bye mommy" on the second day when I dropped him to the center. Since then he gets up early in the morning and gets ready to go to Remuera Montessori. They have the best teachers with right qualifications and attitude. Cannot emphasis enough about the location and the facilities. They carefully observe the children and understand them and attend to specific needs of each child. For an example my son used to refuse most of the food I offered to him but the teachers have quickly recognized this and given priority during the lunch time. Now he eats like a monkey. This is just an example. My son improved a lot on his speech, motor skills, discipline and independence since he started Montessori. I love this place and very highly recommended.
