Almost two and a half years ago I came to live in New Zealand from Chile, I started as a volunteer Spanish language assistant at Montessori 3-6 and I haven't stopped learning new things, attending conferences, courses, workshops and weekly teacher training with the teaching team. Being part of a team in a place where diversity is respected and valued every day makes me feel immensely happy, teaching my language in a friendly and caring environment for children, feeling that my work is valued by the team and families fills me with energy to continue learning and continue my journey to study and qualify as a teacher in my new country. For me Montessori is a refuge in the city, to go to work every day happy and grateful is a fortune. Welcome to all the families who want to come and meet us and share their experiences, we are waiting for you with a smile on our faces.

I have become part time member, of the teaching team, at Montessori 3-6. I have been very impressed with the community feel within the centre. There is a very inclusive atmosphere, where parents and whanau all seem to know each other, and everybody is included. The diverse cultures of all the children and families are also all recognized within the programme.

Montessori 3-6 is a safe haven for children to learn to love becoming life-long learners, in a setting where all cultures, and backgrounds are celebrated. At Montessori 3-6, children become immersed in a well-developed literacy programme, confident with public speaking in English, Spanish, Maori, and other languages. Alongside all the valuable academic skills, gardening etc, children learn to care for the indoor/outdoor environment, and each other. They learn important relationship skills, complimented by a well-developed Virtues programme. Montessori 3-6 has a highly skilled, strong, long term teaching staff, with very little turnover of staff, providing extra security for children. I am a past teacher at Montessori 3-6, and now I enjoy going back to relieve on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Montessori 3-6 to family, friends, and anyone else as one of the best quality ECE centres in the country.

We are so blessed to have the 3-6 Montessori in Napier. The teachers are outstanding in providing the best education for my son who has been attending here since he was 2 years old. This school has unlocked my son's potential in character development, values, literacy, reading, arithmetic, arts, music, science, and life skills such as baking, gardening and basic home responsibilities. The learning materials are high quality with focus on education and critical thinking. Ergonomics and layout of the indoor and outdoor learning environment is well-thought, conducive and safe. The students are also taught to speak in English, Te Reo, Spanish and Japanese. Celebration of different countries are akso implemented, which helped the kids to be culturally diverse at early age. My most favourite in this school is the genuine love and care of the teachers to their students and their passion to live and teach the Montessori principles. The teachers are amazing! I believe that my son has developed and grow so well with the support of this school. 3-6 Montessori is genuine to their intentions in providing an individualised quality education based on specific needs of their students. Thank you to all the amazing teachers of 3-6 Montessori. We really appreciate all your hardwork and efforts for the education of our young children. More power to your school. Best regards, Dawn and Brad
