Kohimarama Montessori Pre School

We love Kohi Montessori! The teachers go above and beyond for the children and the ratios are nice and low. My daughter loves the big outdoor area where I see all the kids running round, playing tag, soccer, sprinklers in summer, playing on moon-hoppers, and more. They also prepare the children for school with skills like writing their names, teaching independence and sending home little readers. I highly recommend to all.

My son has been attending Kohimarama Montessori for almost 2 years now and he is thriving under the guidance of the wonderful teachers at the preschool. He is well engaged in the learning opportunities which are offered to him at his own pace, and I am frequently surprised at his capabilities! He also enjoys the outdoor play area and has plenty of opportunity for exploration and discovery. Would definitely recommend to any families considering this preschool.

Kohimarama Montessori Preschool is an absolute gem! I strongly recommend this wonderful little school which has nurtured my daughter for almost a year. What sets it apart is its happy, calm, homely atmosphere in a safe, tranquil setting, its caring teachers who are incredibly dedicated and passionate about what they do, and its exceptionally high educational standards. Even from a young age, children at Kohi Montessori are taught to be confident, independent, respectful, kind, and well socialised. They are provided with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, and a stimulating learning environment where their natural curiosity is encouraged and celebrated. My daughter has been so happy, learnt so much, made lovely friends, and absolutely thrived here. We are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful preschool right here in Kohi. A bonus is that it stays open through almost all the school holidays. It’s a small preschool with not many places available, so if you are fortunate enough to be offered a place for your child, I would recommend grabbing the opportunity with both hands!

Our son has been at Kohimarama Montessori since he was 2 and is about to go to school and over this time we have had the best experience. The teaching is great, the updates are also so lovely to get and he has been very happy to go each day (he literally skips in). Watching all the great developmental play and education has been a delight. I am so sad that we are coming to the end of our Kohi Montessori time as it has been just perfect for us.
