Sunshine Fruits Montessori Nursery

Absolutely the best nursery. Our son has gone from a boy nervous of new people and situations, to becoming a lot more inquisitive and curious of his surroundings. The staff are so attentive to the children and, in a calm and safe environment, they plan fun activities and outings throughout the day to nurture development, growth and skills. We have loved receiving the daily updates and photos from the nursery - as new parents we found them very reassuring. We would highly recommend Sunshine Fruits to anyone looking in the Camberwell/Peckham areas and we are very sad to be moving on. Big, big thank you to all the staff - you're amazing.

Sunshine Fruits is a wonderful nursery. They are exceptional at encouraging learning and development with young children in the Montessori methods, along with being very attentive to their needs and care. It is a warm, fun environment for children, while also developing their learning and skills in a pro-active way. Our child loved it there.

We are delighted with the care our son has received from Sunshine Fruits over the past year and a bit. We Couldn't have asked for more from a child care provider. He has learned so much from his lovely teachers, received excellent meals every day and has made great friends. It has been a great relief to us knowing our child is in safe hands as we drop him off every morning and I would recommend Sunshine Fruits to any parents considering a nursery place for their child.

We have been very happy with the care, environment and support provided for our two children at Sunshine Fruits over the past three years. The team is excellent and they always go above and beyond. The individual Montessori-based approach, small class sizes, detailed daily updates and genuine interest in each child's development are particular pluses. This is an outstanding nursery.

Lovely team all around - the care our kids have received is simply outstanding. Highly recommended, our kids will miss the nursery and the many friends they have made.

This is an excellent nursery with extremely professional and engaged passionate staff. The children are engaged and happy and learning standards are high for preschool.

My son loves the Perky Pineapples 2-5y room, really great for healthy food and optimising development. He struggled to settle in his previous nursery but has been consistently happy here for months. ... Update: having been here for almost 2 years, my son has continued to thrive. He learns about major topics in Science, History and Geography such as The Big Bang and Apollo 11. The staff consolidate this learning with appropriate trips such as the Greenwich Observatory. They have Spanish lessons and theatre trips once weekly. Overall very happy with the high level of teaching here, and the caring attitude of staff.

My daughter is very happy and settled at this lovely nursery. The staff are gentle and kind, the menu is freshly prepared on site and always changing, the kids go out every day and they follow the Montessori approach. I haven't ever sent my child in while she's ill so I can't comment on their approach to giving medicine. Daily reporting is good - you are fully informed of your child's activities and what they've eaten, when they have slept etc. Nappies and milk are included in the fee. The most important thing is the staff and their good-natured, caring approach towards the children. Overall I have been 100% happy with Sunshine Fruits and feel very lucky that we live nearby.
