Nursery Nightmare, child banned when I raised concern about a staff member allegedly shaking him. Updating my review because my experience has worsened since my initial feedback, which is visible in the photos due to Google’s character limits. For context the manager & owner are the same person. After posting that review, my child’s experience at the nursery declined. He frequently came home with soaking wet socks and often complained about being hit by other children, including the manager’s son. Despite this, no staff intervention, or accident reports were provided. My son also started exhibiting more aggressive behavior and saying things like, “I’ll spit on you,” which is out of character and not something taught at home. This nursery does not celebrate or recognize standard events like World Book Day, BHM, or Diwali. For Christmas, children are required to pay extra to participate in carolling if the event falls on a day they do not normally attend. Invoices are consistently sent just 1–2 days before the strict deadline on the 1st of the month, forcing me to repeatedly request them in advance. When primary school applications opened in November, the nursery provided no notifications or reminders to parents. Thankfully, I was aware of the process, but this lack of communication could leave other parents uninformed. The app used to share updates about children’s development is poorly maintained, with gaps of over three weeks between updates. On one occasion, my son and the Manager’s child celebrated their birthdays on the same day. I brought in cake and candles and was assured I would receive photos of the celebration. However, the only photo uploaded showed no sign of any celebration. In hindsight, I suspect they ignored my son’s birthday and focused solely on her child. There were days my child came home so thirsty and said he hadn’t been given water the entire day. For the first time, my child began showing reluctance to attend nursery which is out of character. I’ve never been so uneasy about his care even when he was an infant. In November, I decided to withdraw him at the end of term & informed the manager. The final straw came when my child was banned from the nursery after I raised a safeguarding concern. He described an incident where a staff member allegedly shook him while he sat on a rainbow chair. I brought this to the manager’s attention, but she denied the claim without conducting any investigation or reviewing the CCTV footage, even after I requested it. Instead of addressing the issue she referenced my earlier Google review. She then opted to ban my child, rather than ensure her staff were not mistreating children. I requested a refund for the week she banned my child and an investigation via email only for her to refuse to refund me & to lie saying she never banned him even though I recorded the conversation due to her past dishonesty. While my earlier review attempted to balance positives with negatives, I now feel it’s my duty to warn other parents about the unprofessionalism of the manager. Her personal biases significantly impact her ability to handle complaints and ensure the safety of children while in their care. This is the worst nursery experience I’ve had. I deeply regret enrolling my child here, especially after discovering the nursery is not officially Montessori accredited. I strongly advise other parents against sending their children here. Additionally, the sudden influx of glowing reviews should be viewed skeptically, as they appeared shortly after I raised my initial complaint in person.

I visited the raising eagles nursery for an open day tour. I was very impressed with the standard of the facilities. Each room had been freshly renovated with safety measures in place. I was given a comprehensive tour of the school, including a detailed walkthrough of the Montessori teaching methodologies and materials. The staff were professional and were clearly passionate about their work with the children. Overall, I left with a great impression of the school!

The facility was clean, safe, and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The educational activities were engaging and helped my child learn. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing environment for their little one.

After a deeply traumatic experience at another local Montessori nursery, where our toddler suffered life-altering injuries, we almost decided to keep him home, having completely lost faith in nurseries. Then we found this one, and it has been a turning point for our family. From the moment our toddler walked through the doors, he felt safe and comfortable, and we knew immediately that this was the right place for him. While the injuries and betrayal from the previous nursery made the transition difficult, the care and support we’ve received here have been nothing short of extraordinary. The owner is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate, creating an environment where children truly thrive. The level of care here surpasses anything we’ve experienced before. In just a few months, our son has made remarkable progress—far more than he achieved in over a year and a half at the previous nursery, which was riddled with false promises and poor practices. We are beyond grateful for this nursery and everything they’ve done to restore our trust and help our son flourish.

An amazing nursery which is very hands on. They really care about the kids and encourage them to progress when they think they are ready. I'm elated to see my daughter thriving in this environment filled with lovely people. Also they are very careful and accommodating with my daughter's allergy which is great to see.

I visited the nursery today and was soo impressed with the layout of education stations. The picture below is one of many pictures that stood out to me. I instantly fell in love with the ethos of this nursery and automatically want my child to attend. The staff were friendly, very helpful and enthusiastic with their role. The manager was very informative, professional, patient and welcoming. All of which are qualities of someone you want to look after your child.

Raising Eagles is a place where you can trust your children will be catered to and receive the education they need at such a crucial period of their life. The teachers are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable in all the areas required to ensure your child feel safe and comfortable to learn. This is indeed a place where eagles are raised- the fruit of this training will be evident in years to come!
