Stepping Stones Academy Childcare Ltd

Both my sons (eldest 4 & youngest 2) have been at stepping stones since the age of around 10 months and are thriving there. The staff are caring and really do treat the kids like family. My eldest son is starting school in September and thanks to stepping stones, he is equipped with the skills and confidence to take this step. I have been impressed with how early they start teaching the children to write and encourage all round learning whilst ensuring they get plenty of play and exploration time! My daughter joined Stepping Stones full time from when she was only 6 months old. All the staff who have worked with her since then have been attentive to her, and supportive to us as a family so we can work together on her development. She LOVES the nursery and the staff and has really developed a strong bond. We feel the nursery is clear and communicates well and is genuinly child centred putting the little ones needs first unlike many larger chain nurseries. The nursery is fairly priced and offers 15 hours free childcare during term time. The hours in the day are 7:30am-6pm which is great for those who need to have flexible pick up and drop off times due to work schedules. My daughter is now off to school in September and my son is due to start in October! I look forward to building on our family relationship with the nursery and watching my son grow up there just like my daughter did! Thank you Stepping Stones

Our daughter started at Stepping Stones during the final lockdown in early 2021. The staff were all so supportive with helping her to settle in when she hadn’t had much opportunity to mix with other children or to be away from us before then. We have continued to be so impressed by the nursery since then! All of the staff are so knowledgeable and caring. Getting to hear how our daughter was getting on during the annual parents meetings was very useful, but there were opportunities to ask questions at any time. Advice about toilet training was particularly useful. Getting the updates on the Blossom app was also so reassuring and we all enjoyed looking at photos of her with her friends at the end of the day and telling me more about what she’d be up to. We have loved getting to do the stay and play opportunities. The one for Mother’s Day earlier this year was particularly lovely. We're always amazed being in there that a place with so many children can feel so calm! They are all so settled and know the routines so well and are happy to concentrate on an activity and then move on to something else fun to do. It is always so clean, tidy and with a big range of varied activities. The outside space is also fab with children getting the chance to play and do activities all year round. The nursery also encourage a love of learning and introduce phonics from a young age. All this made the move to school in September much easier for my daughter and her teachers have commented on how quickly she’s picked up the new routines. The homework set was always relaxed, fun and educational. Getting to take home the bear was great fun too. I had the privilege of enrolling our child in this wonderful nursery, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the home-like setting, which was always impeccably clean and inviting. What truly sets this nursery apart is the staff. They go above and beyond to make every child feel like they are part of a loving family. Their dedication to the well-being and development of each child is evident in every interaction. Watching my child grow in confidence and make lasting friendships during their time here has been truly heartwarming. The nurturing environment and well-thought-out activities have played a significant role in this transformation. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. It's a place where children not only learn and thrive but also feel safe, loved, and supported, just like they're at home. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking the best start for their child.

I can’t praise this nursery enough! Our son has been attending Stepping Stones for 2yrs now and is about to leave for primary school. Over those 2yrs the team here have been AMAZING! They have had such a big impact on our son’s development, ensuring he feels safe and happy. They have been such a big part of our sons life, we will truly miss them! I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My daughter has been attending Stepping Stones for two years now & I can honestly say, hand on heart, it has to be the best childcare setting in the Hillingdon Borough. If you are looking for a nursery that ticks all of the boxes, this is it! Each and every staff member at Stepping Stones puts their all into caring for the children, individually. I wanted my little one to feel like she was attending her home away from home, as she spends 4 days a week at nursery. Since attending Stepping Stones, she has shown so much development in all areas & I have everyone there to thank for that. The days are so carefully thought out and structured, whilst equally allowing the children to be independent or focus on their individual strengths. Most importantly, it’s so much fun! There has not been a single day where my daughter doesn’t want to run through the front door to greet all of her teachers and friends. There’s such a wonderful community feel, full of love and that is more than apparent when my four year old comes home every day and tells me all about her day and her teachers. We have been so well supported throughout all of the milestones such as potty training, right through to prepping for school, practicing handwriting and experiencing homework. We receive updates on Neves day via the Blossom app, twice a day as well as any important notifications or news. This is absolutely brilliant, I have never felt like I’ve missed out on anything thanks to this. The ladies are always fantastic on pick up, to update us on how the day went. We moved quite a way out of Hillingdon back in October & we didn’t look for alternative childcare closer to our new home, which I honestly think says it all. Neve is now ready to move onto school in September and I know this place will always remain in our hearts, thanks to the dedication and hard work of every single person there. Do not hesitate to snap up a place here, if you can, your child will be undoubtedly safe, secure, cared for, nurtured and most importantly, have the most fun ever! My son has been attending Stepping stones for a year and a half now and he is so happy there. All of the staff are so nurturing and supportive and they provide him with so much care, attention and positivity. I would highly recommend Stepping stones to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my son.

We currenly have 2 children that attend Stepping Stones, a 4 year old who is about to leave to start Reception and a almost 3 year old. Both have been attending since just after their 1st birthdays. Our children love the staff, and all the activities they take part in. I believe the staff have really nurtured and helped them with their learning. Both our children are so happy when we drop them off in the mornings, and we get to stay up to date with what they are doing whilst using the blossom app - it is lovely to see photos and comments about their day and to see how happy they are there. Both children will always talk so kindly about their nursery teachers and are excited to come home and tell us what they have learnt, and show us all the different work they have produced at the end of the week, including the lovely paintings, and the various cards they make for celebrations throughout the year. The nursery setting is lovely and now post pandemic we are able to attend for certain events again such as spots day and as my son is getting ready to leave to start school we can attend to see him graduate. They have a really nice sized garden with lots of activities and my children really enjoy spending time outdoors. I would happily recommend this nursery to all parents.
