Children's House Nursery

Our daughter has been going to Children's House for a couple of months now and is really enjoying her time there. The staff are all very friendly and professional - they create a welcoming, fun and caring environment, with an impressive range of activities and crafts for the children to enjoy and learn from. The food is great too, varied and healthy - we know our little one is always well fed!

Children’s house is absolutely wonderful! My 11 month old goes here and has done since he was 7 months old, he has come on loads and is really the happiest little boy ever! The staff are incredible and work so hard in providing a home away from home, even if my little one refuses to nap 😂 they do so many activities which are catered to each child and do lots for the babies development. They are always so kind and loving towards my boy and myself and make sure it’s not just the babies that are well but also assure us parents are okay as well! They’re so welcoming and I couldn’t be happier that we chose this nursery! Thank you again xxx

Children’s House Nursery truly is a home from home. Our little girl had been at her previous nursery since she was 7 months old (she’s now almost 2) and so it was a bit of a shock to the system for our usually very resilient, happy go lucky girl (and us) when we moved across the country and changed nurseries! Every single member of staff at Children’s House have been so welcoming, they made a real effort to get to know Phoebe, her Sister who is in after school club and us and we really feel like part of the family. They helped us to navigate some tricky illnesses since starting and have been so communicative, helpful and understanding. They are always on the other end of the phone should you need them and never make you feel like a nuisance! It is so lovely to know that our little ones are in safe hands and that they are having a wonderful time doing all sorts of different activities and learning so many new things whilst we are busy working. Thank you for being so wonderful Children’s House, we are so pleased we found you!

Our son has settled in really well at Children’s House. We appreciated the many settling in sessions that he was able to have beforehand. The app is brilliant for letting us know about his day and the team members are all warm and friendly. Our son loves being outside so we’re pleased that he spends plenty of time playing in the playground, plus he’s been on a trip to the park. Lots of thought is put into planning different activities indoors too from baking to painting.

The staff are lovely and really care for my child’s individual needs. Each day they do something different to help her exploratory learning. The space is good and the variety of toys / activities keeps my little one entertained.

This place is a home from home nursery. Our daughter has been here for 2+years, moving through different age appropriate rooms and absolutely loves going. The staff are it’s most outstanding feature. They are welcoming, dedicated and so creative! We love seeing the indoor and outdoor activities they have planned each day and receiving pictures on the nursery app along with the food diary and general updates. The staff behind the scenes are also fab, always quickly getting back to any emails and calls which was so reassuring when she was settling in and still now always sending out nursery news to keep us up to date. This is a wonderful environment for children to grow and develop in and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a nursery.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was 9 months old. She has transitioned from the baby unit in to the tweenies unit. Our experience of both units has been excellent with kind and approachable staff. This nursery has a home from home feel and any concerns are always listened to. Our daughter has never hesitated or refused to go to nursery and I believe is well loved by all the staff. The introduction of the Blossom app means we get regular updates throughout the day with how she is, activities she is undertaking and her sleeping and eating. We also get lots of photos and videos. The children also get to go out into the wider community very regularly and spend lots of time in the garden areas. We love her being here and our son will be joining her in the not too distant future.

Our son started Children's House in December 2020 and he loves it, it has helped his development and confidence so much. All the staff are very friendly and the selection of snacks and meals ensures that he is getting lots of variety in his diet. We love the daily app updates as we can see what he's up to and that he's in safe hands. Would highly recommend this nursery to any parents currently researching childcare. Mrs Black x

My son has been attending childrens house nursery since he was around 6 months old, nearly 2 years on and he’s still loving it! Every member of staff we have met including his key workers have been so lovely and you can really see how comfortable and happy he is being around them. He always comes home talking about friends and things they have been doing throughout the day, we also love our updates and photos we receive throughout the day on their app! Honestly couldn’t recommended childrens house enough.
