Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery & Preschool

I attended Bright Horizons while trying to decide which Nursery to send my Son to. Initially, i was very skeptical about sending my son to nursery all together, but after visiting Bright Horizons- I’m now excited to. Krupa the manager is very professional and welcoming. It is evident that this nursery strives for excellence and the highest of quality standards. I’m very impressed to say the least. Staff all seem very passionate about what they do. In particular Jasmine, who took the time to introduce herself to me and my son, and then showed us around the Nursery again, which was lovely! The Nursery is also very diverse from what I can see amongst the children and staff. Looking forward to my son starting.

My son has been at Bright Horizons Nottingham for nearly 2 years now and he loves it! Through the Bright Horizons app, I am regularly updated on how my little one is doing throughout the day. The early help practitioners at the setting are great and will work with you to get the best out of your child. As well as providing updates at the end of each day, they also offer parents evening sessions where you can discuss your child in more detail. For each stage of his time at the nursery, my son has been assigned with a key worker which has given him a sense of stability and familiarity while he is away from home. The whole team at Bright Horizons are great and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants their child to progress all while having lots of fun!

I came across the Nottingham Day Nursery & Preschool some time ago and I liked everything I saw on the website. Although I was quite certain it was going to be out of our price range, I recently booked a viewing. First of all, it turned out to be the cheapest out of all of the nurseries we have seen, moreover it is the only nursery that apart from meals and snacks also provides free nappies and wipes! Finally, it is the only nursery that offers settling in days over 8 weeks which makes me feel more at ease and more confident in gradually increasing the number of hours instead of throwing my daughter in at the deep end (most of the nurseries offer 2 days 1-2 hours each day). My first impression was very positive, place looked clean, organised and it had a nice flow between the rooms. The baby room was warm and bright, with different 'stations' set out with activities for babies, the sleeping area looked very cosy with fairy lights on to create a pleasant, soothing ambiance. It felt like a warm and comforting environment, each member of staff welcomed us with a big smile and each one of them seemed to be very caring, nurturing and supportive. The nursery manager, Krupa went above and beyond our expectations! During the viewing I was very impressed with her professionalism, dedication and passion for running this nursery and ensuring that all of the children are taken great care of and that they all thrive and are prepared for school when the time comes. We hardly had any questions as she explained everything in detail. I could tell that a lot of hard work has gone into making this nursery into a nice, warm and friendly environment as it is! All the babies and toddlers looked happy and like they had a lot of fun which speaks for itself! We felt really taken care of! I felt so calm and reassured and I think my daughter is going to really enjoy her time there! I could not be happier that we managed to get a place for her at this nursery! If her stay is going to be as positive as the first impression then it's going to be great!

Just wanted to share now brilliant this nursery are. All the staff I've encountered are so friendly and welcoming and the management/key workers always go above and beyond for my son from giving me things to help him at home and also giving me courtesy calls off their own back to let me know that he's okay after I've left him and he's upset. Couldn't appreciate having such a good nursery more for my son to go to.

Thankyou to Krupa, Zoe & the pre school team. Our boys have loved every minute of pre school. The teachers are fantastic, the food, the facilities and the teachings have been brilliant. What a great starting point for our boys. Now on to primary school! Keep up the great work!

My daughter is nearly 1 and just started at nursery 2 days a week. I was so comfortable leaving her after such a great settling in period over 8 weeks where she has spent a couple of visits a week at the nursery getting used to the staff and her surroundings. Everyone is so lovely and really keen to make sure the parents are as happy as the children. I love my little updates on the app and seeing how she is doing. My daughter also has an allergy that has been handled so well I couldn't have asked for more. I look forward to seeing my daughter develop here and make lots of friends with both the staff and children.

I have two children aged 2 and 3 who have been at this nursery for the best part of two years and they absolutely love it. I cannot recommend this place enough. The activities are so well thought out to help encourage learning and development and they regularly update the app to let you know what they've been up to! My children go in smiling, and they come out smiling and with so much to tell me. Their learning and development has blossomed since they have been regularly attending here. More than anything, though, the ethos and energy of the staff is nothing short of amazing, and communication is always clear and timely. I can honestly say the entire team, without exeption, is always upbeat, friendly and incredibly attuned to the children. At home, my children often speak fondly about the staff and their peers at nursery. The manager and her deputy are always around and treat the parents and children with true warmth and respect. They have clearly created a very healthy and happy working culture for their staff too. It's a lovely environment to be able to leave my children in and we honestly don't know what we would do without them! Can't recommend them enough!

I absolutely love this nursery and so dose my son ,he enjoys the days where his at the nursery .the staffs are brilliant and very pilot , the manager Krupa Mamotra is so sweet and so professional at her job and very Engaging I couldn’t be happier ,for my son to be in a such a good environment to Learn and play .

My daughter started nursery when she was 9 months and at the time we were fascinated by how friendly and welcoming the members of staff were that helped her settle in fairly quickly. Now she is 4 years old and will be leaving pre-school for school in September. She has built a strong bond with all members of staff and it won't be easy neither for her nor for us to leave this lovely place. We are so impressed with the level of care my daughter received at bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery. I strongly recommend this nursery to every mom who is looking for a lovely second home for their beloved child.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 1 (now 4 and in preschool) All the staff in all rooms have been amazing with him and he has absolutely flourished. Throughout the restrictions of covid the team explained the reasons for everything with empathy (most being parents themselves). Compared to other nurseries (from sibling experience) Bright Horizons Nottingham is far superior and i have every confidence that my child will be starting school with the best start.
