Beyond Montessori School

Although my children have not been at BMS for a few years now I have just recently recommended them to several families with young children. As I explained my experience to them I began to realize just how formative and special our time at BMS was. Both of my children completed the Casa program at BMS. We were with them through 2 facilities and each year we were grateful for the clear communication, extreme care and consideration for each child and their needs, and respect, patience and understanding of each individual’s emotional and intellectual development. The negative review written previously is by a woman who has written several other negative reviews for other places which are all filled with incredible fabrications and baseless accusations that are hurtful and unfair. I trusted BMS with my children for 6 years and was never, not even once, less than thrilled with the service I received and my kids are still to this day demonstrating that a Montessori education in their early years is second to none.

My daughter adjusted really well in this school environment. Prior to this, she attended JK in Public School for about 2 weeks, lots of tears, she didn't want to come back. But in BMS she was always excited to go in, no tears, less cravings for screen time and more with interaction, she learned her friends' names on day 1, started cleaning up her own mess, started tracing letters! Feels like we've made the right decision.

I had the opportunity to be a guest speaker recently and meet the staff, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I love the schools new location, my daughter used to attend Beyond Montessori when she was younger, and she loved it! She is now going into second year of Guelph, studying Environmental Sciences. My daughter joined BMS in September 2021 and she has enjoyed a great experience ever since. At the beginning, she was shy and didn't know how to interact with peers and teachers. She has come out of her shell so much now. She has been talking about her friends at school, counting their names happily and proudly. She learned a lot about good manners and life skills. She mentions to mum about the jobs she has been doing at school and she loves them. We sincerely appreciate the help and support from the loving and caring teachers and admin team! I would enrol my son when he grows a bit older.

My daughter has English as her second language, as we mainly speak just Portuguese at home. The BMS staff are very supportive and mindful to help her adapt. We are glad that we found BMS.

Every single day I drop my child off at Beyond Montessori. Every single day I witness my child run to her teachers because she can't wait to start her day. Recently, my child was sick and I had to pick her up. I watched her three teachers care for and love her the way I would. I find so much joy in being a part of the community that loves and cherishes my child. Since stepping into Beyond, my child has been growing, learning, and excelling. The teachers, the administration, and the other parents have worked above and beyond to ensure our child is supported and that we as parents are engaged. Thank you Beyond Montessori for continuing to be a safe place for our child to learn and grow.

Our children have attended Beyond Montessori for the better part of 6 years. The staff at BMS have fostered tremendous emotional growth, self-confidence, physical coordination and creativity in our children. The education, support and love that has been given to our children is more than we could ask for. They always look(ed) forward to beginning each day at school and we are blessed to be a part of the BMS family.

I was very new to the Montessori education a few months ago. Knowing my little one would benefit greatly from a program like Montessori we did our research and found that Beyond Montessori was the perfect fit for our child. The staff at the school are always very organized and informative. (We love the IG page!!!!) The practices they use to promote growth, learning and development are quite amazing. The work tasks are fun. They promote collab efforts as well as independant learning and it is definitely noticible at home. In addition to the great daily routines they promote a very healthy mealtime plan! I get to learn new creative ways to cook fun meals at home from the fan favourites our little one tells us all about. We have been so grateful to be a part of the BMS community. Our son started in the Casa classroom at age three. At times he can be slower to warm in new situations, and his teachers Miss Ashley and Miss Rebecca were extremely kind and patient with him. Over time we saw our son develop a confidence and independence that we absolutely attribute to his experience at Beyond Montessori. Our younger son started this year in the Pre-Casa classroom and similarily, we have watched him flourish. Miss Emily and Miss Ming make a wonderful team. They bring an incredible patience and passion for education to their classroom, it feels very much like a welcoming space. Whenever I've had questions or needed assistance, the administrative team has always swiftly and professionally assisted me. I appreciate their attention to detail and clear, concise communication.

Our daughter loves her teachers and the activities. We are very happy with how attentive they are with her. We definitely recommend Beyond Montessori to other parents.
