Lindfield Montessori Preschool

Lindfield Montessori Preschool has gifted both my children with the best possible start to eduaction. Their approach was nurturing, and child-led which produced confident and kind children who love to learn. Lindfield Montessori has given them such amazing memories and taught them so much. Having completed the kindergarten program, my son has thrived in his new school and is doing extremely well academically and socially. My daughter is currently in the kindergarten program and has come so far in the two years already there. Lindfield Montessori has brought so much joy and happiness to my children. They have made life long friends, and have the deepest respect for their teachers, who are nothing short of incredible. Choosing this school for my children was one of the smartest decisions my husband and I have made.

We are super happy with our experience at Lindfield Montessori Preschool. It is a small and intimate Montessori preschool and all of the children are very joyful. That's what is most important to us! The indoor and outdoor facilities are great and are designed for children to enjoy. Worth visiting if you're in the area and curious about Montessori preschool education.

We discovered Lindfield Montessori after going for a walk after moving to the area. We enquired at the preschool for our child but found out that children start at 3 years and she was too young :( The teacher there told us about the toddler program and we booked in to do a trial lesson. We were so amazed with all the activities that our child was offered to do! Ashley helped her feel at ease right away which was fantastic becuase she is often really shy with other people. She didn't want to go home after the first class! Now she can't wait to go to toddler class and asks all week when can she go back to play! We're so excited we found this!!

We started our child in the 3-6 year-old preschool group mid pandemic. Covid safety is a major consideration for us. We chose this preschool after touring other Montessori schools and preschools in the area. The reasons for us are, - This is a small preschool of only 20 or so children and the indoor area is MUCH bigger than other preschools. This means better indoor space/ventilation for the children. - The outdoor space is wonderful and huge with plenty of room to run/play and has a lovely veg patch. Kids get to enjoy good quality outdoor free play everyday which is so important for their mental health and social skills. - High staff/child ratio. - This is a community preschool. The philosophy and approach is quite different to other for-profit organisations. Having experienced both, I rate staff stability and a very genuine care and loyalty to the school community from the teachers. Similarly, this is reciprocated by families enrolling their multiple kids over a number of years. - I have found the teachers exceptionally caring and passionate about the little people they are in charge of. They are receptive to feedback. I have not had any concerns re safety either in the way they are cared for or the physical environment. - “Montessori” is not a patented word. This school follows a genuine and authentic Montessori method with highly trained principal and educators. This has fostered independence and resourcefulness in our child. It also really suits kids of an inquisitive nature. Our family rates this preschool highly and would not hesitate to recommend it.
