Inner Sydney Montessori School

Our son absolutely loves going to school. He started a year ago and has now transitioned to stage 1. The teachers have been wonderful and the environment is a safe and friendly one. While drop off was initially difficult, after a few days my son happily joins his peers. While the fees may be expensive, it’s worth every penny seeing my son’s development.

My 3 children all attended ISMS from age 3 through to 12 years. The dedication and excellence of the teaching staff was always exemplary and the quality of education provided outstanding. All 3 children subsequently transitioned smoothly to various High Schools with zero fuss or issues. It is a wonderful school community and I would recommend you visit, experience and understand the benefits a Montessori education can provide at this school.

We love this school, and the warm supportive environment which nurtures our girls and focuses on building good humans who care about others and their environment. The teachers are absolutely brilliant, so dedicated and thoughtful about their work and really devoted to the children. I didn't know much about Montessori methods when we first looked into it but have been so impressed. I would highly recommend the Montessori system to anyone considering it for their children.

I went to ISMS from age 3-12, and met some amazing people and teachers. I am immensely grateful to have received such a fun, interesting and interactive education where teachers took genuine care and interest in my learning. The community created as a result is warm, welcoming and I would highly recommend this school to anyone considering for their own children.

Focussed on supporting kids to be good citizens and developing the skills critical for future life and work - how to make choices, work collaboratively and make friends across a wide range of ages, take initiative, plan a project or organise the day, work independently, tackle a challenge whether academic or social, develop creativity and original thought. Staff are wonderful; encourage deep understanding and connections between concepts and support the whole child. Our kids are developing an excellent foundation and are very happy socially.
