Lane Cove Montessori

I can’t express how much my son has enjoyed and learned at Lane Cove Montessori, who has been in LCM family since he’s 5 months old. The teachers are really supportive and they really care about children, and I love how they organise cultural celebrations for diversity and inclusiveness. He’s full of happiness, doesn’t want to leave, and after he wakes up he asks to go to school. After four years my son has become an independent child with confidence, enthusiasm and curiosity.

The best day care! My daughter just love the centre and the staff. Each kid - is a person. I am very happy with their educational program. In kindy, kids from LCM significantly ahead of overage. We forced to move other suburb and change day care. In a half a year returned back to LCM - looks like the best place for my daughter. She is absolutely happy here.

Lane Cove Montessori (LCM) management and staff have sincere care and compassion for every child. LCM actively supports the children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. Our daughter thrived at the centre, and they prepared her well for the transition to kindergarten. We highly recommend LCM to any parent.

Not to be confused with the Montessori Academy franchise in Lane Cove, Lane Cove Montessori (LCM) is a family owned centre that has a soul. Our son has been attending LCM since he was 4 months old (he is nearly 2 now). Unfortunately, we had to move to Waitara which is a bit of a long drive from LCM so we tried transferring our son to a closer daycare that also “exceeds NQS” and was the best out of the ones around our area. They didn’t come close to LCM and after a month, we had to pull him out of the local daycare and back to LCM as the care is just far superior to the local daycare. We figured it would be worth the long drive just to give our son the best care in his early years, which we feel is very important in laying the foundation to his future success. Our son spends a lot of his time at daycare so it made sense to find one whose philosophy and ethos agree with our parenting style. So why do we love LCM so much? We love how genuine and caring our son’s educators at LCM are. We love how everyday, his educators work hard to create a stimulating and fun environment for the children. We love how well thought out the activities are, the prepared environment created by his educators, and how attentive and supportive they are with the children in general. We love how the educators treat the children with respect, how they talk to the children like what they have to say matters and that they are heard. We love how the educators teach the children good manners and values. We love how the educators truly care about the children’s development, that they work hard do things right and take no shortcuts, that they feed the children healthy food and educate them about healthy eating, that they do not give them screen time and that they happily work with the parents in toilet training the children. We love the energy that all the carers put into entertaining the children, epitomised by Saru imitating a dog at 6pm (how does she do it?). We love that LCM truly “follows the child”, even allowing them to interact with those of different age groups so they develop their social skills and stay engaged. We love that LCM has a nurturing family feel guided by a genuine passion for children. The director is very education based and truly cares about giving the children a good start in life. The children at LCM love her. It is no secret that we rate LCM very highly. We are often amazed at how advanced our beloved son appears to be in almost all aspects of his development, and this is a huge part because of his educators at LCM. We do not take for granted how important their role is in our son’s life. Thank you LCM for loving and caring for our son. Know that you are great at what you do. 👍🏼

So much more than a day care - it's a family! I am so grateful to Anji and her team at Lane Cove Montessori. Being a first time mum, I wanted the best environment for my baby so I chose LCM as they were rated "Exceeding NQS". I see everyday how much the children truly love going there and how much effort the educators put in for them! Anji and all the educators really care about the children and go above and beyond for them. My little one had separation anxiety when she first started and LCM was so supportive through it all. They showed her so much love and care, now she loves going! Anji the director in particular put in lots of effort to make my LO feel safe and she has a magic touch of being able to get my LO to sleep! The best part is that they supported me through the transition as well by giving me updates to how she was settling. LCM and Anji take pride in the Montessori method to help the children gain confidence and independence. My friends with children that attend other day cares are always commenting on how much more social and self sufficient my LO is. I definitely credit LCM for that! Through the Covid19 pandemic, they really made the children's safety the top priority. They put in great safety measures and was very good at communicating with the families. I really admire how they handled the situation gracefully! Positive Professionalism
