Very rude admin

My daughter has grown to love learning while growing her confidence and independence. I am so grateful for her teachers and the directors for their open communication and support.

I honestly can’t say enough about Young Minds. My daughter has been going here for 2 1/2 years and she has grown so much. She is going off to kindergarten this next school year and will be more than ready. We will miss Young Minds and the staff. Amazing staff that treat my daughter like their own and are very personable and understanding.

My sister reached out to this school regarding availability for her 22 month old. During the tour we noticed this location does not appear to represent Montessori. Little to no information was given regarding the kids schedule or what activities the kids do each day. They have a Montessori hour which honestly isn't standard. I didn't notice any collaborative play, hands-on learning nothing. It honestly appeared to be a regular daycare, nonetheless we were going to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, today she spoke to a very rude individual advising there is no space and they cannot take him. Based on my experience with Montessori I have never encountered staff that were rude/disrespectful. I am honestly shocked with how the representative behaved. I'm not upset there isn't any space I'm disappointed the way the representative handled delivering that information. This individual didn't have to be rude when in reality they were in the wrong. If we were told initially there isn't any space we never would have gone on a tour. If the tour was scheduled in error admit your mistake it's that simple. At this point it's honestly a happy error, I couldn't imagine having my nephew attend a location where the staff respond so poorly when they are in the wrong. I can only imagine how the children are treated on a regular basis.

Young Minds Montessori is one of the best Montessori’s I have known of. Both my kids have been going to the school for over a year and a half. We have seen tremendous growth in my kids both in terms of academics and independence/social behavior. Sending our kids to YMM is one of the best decisions my husband and I made. The teachers and the staff are very warm, friendly, and high experienced who are truly vested in child’s development and progress. In addition to the regular Montessori curriculum, the school has also partnered with many different external clubs to provide paid extracurricular activities to the kids through the week. Both my kids get super excited to go to school each morning and share all the stories with their teachers and friends. I highly recommend YMM to anyone and everyone seeking new school for their young ones.

A great, clean, and safe Montessori School! Thoughtful teachers and curriculum. They also have fun special events for the kids and their families. Definitely give this local school a look if you're wanting to support a local business versus a chain.

We love Young Minds! Our daughter has grown so much here and enjoys it. I love hearing her talk about things that I myself didn't learn in school till I was much older. We were so happy when she put away her own bowl in the kitchen sink at home, and loves to show us how to fold towels and clothes (we didn't teach her that!). She loves to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing the school song at home too. The children at Young Minds learn at their pace yet are challenged, and are expected to behave. One of the things that made me decide on the school in the first place was how the Director Ms. Ashanti was proud to show me the work done by the kids in school. Their worksheets, workbooks, etc. This didn't happen in the other schools I toured - they focused on building security, discussing feelings at the beginning of the day, etc. If you're looking for an emphasis on an all round education in the Montessori method - reading, writing, independence through a variety of activities - this is indeed a great school.
