Willow Montessori is an outstanding Montessori school, with a great staff, and a connected community. I sent my son there at 4 months old and he was there through his second birthday. My son was safe, well taken care of, and enjoyed every day that he was there. The curriculum is very consistent with Montessori methods and my son enjoyed learning from his teachers. We called Willow his school and never thought of it as a day care. I would be happy to send another child to this school and would highly recommend.

Beautiful daycare with mostly Montessori materials, but beyond that there is little Montessori anything (including staff). Withdrew our son after a few months, with a director who is unresponsive to academic, hygienic, and safety concerns from parents. Instead, she suggests our son is autistic, (with zero qualifications to identify learning disabilities). Definitely Not a Montessori. Cute-looking, ‘state minimum standards only’ daycare

Having never been exposed to the Montessori system of learning before and while looking for a school for our first-born, we were bought into the concept but were unsure of how well the beliefs of the Montessori system were going to be implemented. My son started at Willow when he was 14-months old. He almost immediately started displaying superior social skills when compared to his peers. Today, at 2.5 years, he definitely surprises us with his vocabulary and everyday life skills. Willow is a fabulous institution that feels like an extension of a family home while maintaining the sanctity of a learning space. With the founder Barkha’s huge emphasis on interior design, the school is a really adorable little space for the kids or friends, as they’re known. Frequently investing in doing up the space and constantly evolving the layout of their classes keeps things fresh for the kids. If you asked my son what his favorite feature of the school is, he’d probably say the two pet chickens they have in their backyard! As parents, we’ve been constantly engaged through frequent zoom calls and when safe, community events at the school. My favorite has to be the biannual discovery sessions where parents walk through the school in total silence on a Friday evening and then engage in a group discussion on Saturday morning with other parents and teachers alike - again, a Montessori staple. The faculty are amazing. Starting off in the Nido class, currently in Toddler and soon heading off to Primary, we’ve seen Willow and Barkha ensure the highest levels of faculty for the little ones. Even during the pandemic when there was a fair churn of their staff, she kept her head high and managed to quickly backfill positions with quality faculty members and we never felt like the learning or fun ever stopped. Special shout out to our son’s toddler class teacher, Ms. Adela. She treats her students like her own kids and adopts a very, very practical, hands on approach to teaching with her kids. I also love that both she and Ms. Angie are imparting a bilingual medium of education to the kids in English and Spanish. I can’t say enough good things about Willow and if you’re considering the school for your little one(s), I can just say a wholehearted, vehement YES!

We have fallen in love with the passion and dedication from everyone at Willow Montessori. My daughter adores Mrs. Alicia. She is the kindest and most patient person, and we appreciate her so much for all that she does with our daughter. Mrs. Barkha and Ms. Karla are always so organized and enthused with all of the children and their activities. They have built an incredible community for the Willow families, and for that we have been so grateful for. They care deeply for their students and as parents - would couldn't ask for a better Montessori program than Willow Montessori Academy.

I love that my daughter and I are part of the Willow Family! All of the staff are amazing, especially her Nido teacher, Ms. Suzan! She goes above and beyond and truly cares for babies and making sure they develop independence in a true Montessori style!

Our daughter has been a part of the Willow family for a year now and we couldn't be more grateful to find such an amazing community. The kids truly care for one another and always have a blast at school. We've always loved montessori and our daughter loves to learn and explore. My only wish is that they'd continue there through elementary years because we love it so much!

My husband and I always knew we wanted to make sure we found the best care for our child. We wanted a non- traditional daycare or school. We looked at various Montessori schools and all were filled for the school year. Thankfully I kept looking and I came across WMA. I scheduled time to meet Ms Barkha and I felt the passion she had for her new school and future students to attend. My child started in Toddler and now is in primary and is thriving. I can honestly say Ms Barkha and her staff truly love and care about their students all around. If you are looking for a school that is going to challenge as well as contribute to the growth and education of your child from a non-traditional teaching style look no further. WMA is more than a school it is a loving community! Thank you WMA all that you do for my child. We love you!

When we moved to Dallas from Houston we wanted to find a Montessori school that would be a perfect fit for my son. We found Willow Montessori School and it’s become a second home for us. He’s grown leaps and bounds and is learning new things daily. After being in Montessori schools since he was 18 months old and is now 4 1/2, this has been the absolute greatest school he has attended. I could not recommend it more. The teachers are so intentional and communicative and the environment allows each child to truly thrive.
