We sent our son before COVID started. We Loved the community and the learning process. Now In COVID that culture and intentionality means so much more to us.

We have had our eldest daughter at WMS since fall 2016, and our second since fall 2017. When we moved to Webster in 2016 and my wife had to return to work after an extended maternity leave, we began searching for day care. What we found was better - WMS! We initially found that we could enroll our girls for less than or equal to the cost of daycare and utilize the school's wrap-around program - and as a bonus they would be getting an education. Once enrolled, we found so much more to love at WMS! The directresses have been wonderful with our girls, and we have been very pleased and impressed with the program and education they are receiving. The size of the school makes the staff, other parents, and children all feel like family. The staff takes strong interest in the child's development - emotionally and educationally. We have become enthusiastic believers in the Montessori approach to learning. Furthermore, the school did an outstanding job of navigating COVID-19 remote learning last spring, offering a summer program, and now a return to school in the pandemic that included protocols and processes that made our family feel safe. We encourage others to look into WMS!

My family has been part of the Webster Montessori School community since 2016. Their commitment to fostering our children's love of learning and natural abilities reaches well beyond our expectations. We have had first hand experiences with multiple directresses and would highly recommend all of them. The ability to experience the teachings from the classroom as they integrate in to our home and lives is an all-encompassing feeling that we will always treasure thanks to this school. The school offers an array of enhancements to their educational platform through wrap-around and summer camp programs. My children have enjoyed soccer, karate, art, and science to name a few. In addition, it should be stated that during the most pressing times we just faced through a pandemic, the dedication and adaptability of WMS illustrated the true integrity of this institution. We are happy, excited, and proud to be enrolling our 3rd child in the near future!

We have two children at WMS, and couldn't be happier. The school has an excellent staff, provides a safe and nurturing environment, and allows children to learn in the way that's best suited for them. We highly recommend it!

Great teachers who take the time to make sure each child is included, great lesson plans and the kids advance at their own pace, supportive and amazing staff that is involved with not only teachers and students but parents as well

My daughter started WMS in 2014 in the toddler program and over the years has gained a love of learning I believe will stay with her throughout her life! The Montessori approach to learning fosters independence, responsibility and kindness. The staff and teachers at WMS are among the most dedicated educators I have ever encountered. I cannot think of anything better I could be giving my daughter than the Montessori experience at WMS!

When I was in primary school I didn’t know what “Montessori” was. But what struck me, even at a young age, was how well-rounded and mature the kids were who transferred to my school once they aged-out of the local Montessori program. I remember thinking it was like they had a super-power that made it easier for them to learn. Looking back now, having been friends with many of them for over 30 years, I realize that this “advantage” did not diminish over time and that they were some of the most successful people I knew. When my wife and I had our first child we began looking into child-care options. We explored everything. We initially assumed we would end up finding a great daycare that would provide plenty of socialization. What surprised me (this was our first child) was the cost. We found that the cost of sending a child to a Montessori program that started at 18 months of age each morning and using their onsite wrap-around care in the afternoon was on par with paying for a full day at some of the most popular local daycares. We started looking into the history of Montessori, the teaching method, and began pursuing it seriously. But the decisions didn’t end there. There were 3 Montessori schools within 10 miles of our house. Ultimately we went with the option that was the furthest away, Webster Montessori (actually located in the town of Penfield). While it seemed to have the strongest feel of community and the building was in great shape having recently completed a renovation and expansion, it was the fact that they were accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) that was the biggest sway. The Webster Montessori School is one of only 6 in New York State that meet AMI's school standards. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The teachers and staff are amazing. We now have 3 kids attending the school and the experience has exceeded our expectations. It has been incredible to see them develop. While they haven’t acquired any actual super-powers they are in an environment that fosters a love of learning, supports independence, focus, and attention, and provides a strong educational foundation.

Lovely people work here I'm sure. however my experience was discriminatory against a four-year-old child. Sad Kindergarten teacher not meeting with the reality Of the new era.

Amazing school all around! Impressive Staff. Webster Montessori students acquire many new skills that reflect real life. To mention a few notable traits; they develop order, coordination, concentration, and independence. Between the accessible classroom designs, learning materials, and daily routines, Webster Montessori's cohesive structure amplifies the uniqueness of each child’s gift and their freedom to advance at a pace that matches their respective learning style. Highly recommended! Your child will grow beyond all of your expectations.
