I couldn't be happier with the care TLC Learning Center provides for my little girl. From the moment we walk in, we're greeted with smiles, and the environment is consistently clean and decorated. The staff (Ms. Kim and Ms. Erica) have a wonderful "happy to help" mentality, which makes every interaction feel welcoming and comforting. Even though my little (baby girl) is an almost a toddler, she is always excited to see her teachers (Ms. Amanda & Ms. Makiyia) and the staff, which speaks volumes about the warm and nurturing environment at TLC. The teachers are attentive and take the time to notice the little things she does, sharing these details with me regularly. It’s clear to me that they truly care about getting to know the children on a personal level, which I deeply appreciate. One of the most reassuring aspects of TLC is the long-term employee retention. Many of the staff have been there for years, which fosters a family-like atmosphere and shows the commitment of the team. It’s also wonderful to know that some children who grew up there later return to work at the center or send their own children. This trust and loyalty reflect the positive impact the center has on both the children and their families. The center itself is cost-efficient, clean, and offers a variety of programs that cover the different stages of childhood. The facility has its own parking lot, a convenient drop-off covered drive-up area, and a great playground, which adds to the overall convenience and safety of the environment. What really stands out to me is the thorough communication. Whether it's through the infant care mobile app or in-person conversations, I consistently feel informed about what's happening in the classroom. The open communication between parents and teachers is invaluable, as it ensures the best care and understanding of my child’s needs. I couldn't ask for a better group of caring individuals to help guide and nurture my daughter. I'm incredibly grateful to have found a place where she is truly cared for and supported. Thank you TLC Learning Center and your wonderful staff for being such an amazing part of my daughter’s life.

I would give this school 10 stars if I could. My 4 year old and 2 year old starting coming at the beginning of summer and they have loved every second. The teachers are so friendly and my 4 year old always talks about ms Marie! AND MS KIM IS AMAZING! Whenever I have had an issue or concern she has always made me feel at ease and followed up with it. Ms. Erica as well, she's always so friendly to me and the kids. I was nervous about my kids coming to school so far and what if something happens but As a mom who lives all the way in Indiana and has to drive 30-45 mins to pickup and drop off, I would absolutely NOT be commuting here if I didn't think it was worth it. If I ever felt that my kids were not safe then I would 1000% not be coming here. The environment is always friendly and it's a sense of family. We love TLC! And I would recommend this school to anyone. They really are amazing

Feeling Grateful for TLC Daycare in Blue Island I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the preparedness and professionalism of TLC daycare in Blue Island. Recently, upon picking up my granddaughter, there was a police matter taking place across the street that limited access for parents to park in the parking lot. Despite the potential disruption, I was reassured to see that all doors were locked and there was no access to the children. The staff had moved the children to the interior of the building, ensuring their safety and security. What impressed me even more was how the daycare managed to keep the children’s day on track. The students didn’t seem disrupted at all; they were happy and unaware of the situation outside, continuing to enjoy the fun activities planned for them. It’s very comforting to know that my granddaughter is in such a safe and well-prepared environment. Kudos to TLC daycare for their excellent handling of the situation! Thank you Ms. Erika, Ms. Kim and all the staff that were present that day. You are amazing!!!

My son attended all of two weeks, on his first day he came home with a big scab under his chin. There was never an acknowledgment of what occurred, I just know it did not occur on my watch which shows how they try to wipe things under the rug. Secondly, the owner constantly murmured my son and I were dirty. She is nasty and talks about you as soon as you walk away. They are only in the business for the money. Charging late fees, late pick up fees, paying late fees. It’s all about money. Some of the teachers seemed alright. Didn’t like the owner. On my sons last day of attendance there was a shooting next door at the Salvation Army. 3 injured one in critical condition. The news and police were all there trying to capture their online story. The community is not the best, and reflects the children attending there. I will pass. There are alright, but not the best.

I love TLC ! My daughters have water play, cooking, and social/academic learning. The staff are so sweet and cater to my children well. I have no complaints!

This is a great school! Both of daughters went here from preschool-kindergarten. They do amazing with teaching general education as well as life skills. This school is worth every penny in my opinion.

Not the best experience. Staff was very unfriendly and unwelcoming to my child. Not a friendly environment. On most occasions staff won’t speak or greet you upon arrival unless prompted to. The teachers are inappropriate and yell at the children instead of using conscious discipline. The curriculum is not like the typical Montessori curriculum but instead preschool age children are forced to do routine assignment.
