The Children's Garden a Montessori School

This is a small, in-home Montessori school run by a former CCSD special education teacher who received her Montessori training. My daughter has flourished under her guidance, and I have appreciated her friendship and our little school community. The teacher has managed my daughter's strengths and weaknesses with wisdom and patience. My child has attended the past two years and is now doing kindergarten-level math, writes at a kindergarten level, and is confidently reading novels. She's learning self-regulation, social-emotional skills, about her global community, and about the natural world around her. The classroom is beautiful and her backyard garden Is an incredible place to learn thanks to her and a fellow mom's efforts. I highly recommend this school to anyone who desires an intentional, child-focused learning environment for their child.
