Tas Montessori School

All three of our children have spent their preschool years at Tas Montessori & it has been such a fruitful experience for each of them. When we initially “shopped around” for the best preschool atmosphere for our oldest, TMS was a standout. An open concept where children eagerly engage in learning, and a peaceful environment - we weren’t seeing that anywhere else. The Montessori approach of respecting children and their individuality - truly working with children at a personal, distinct level that recognizes where the individual child is developmentally. We saw this approach work positively at TMS with each of our three children whose approach to learning & personalities differed greatly. Over the past 10 years, we have seen each of our children grow an eagerness to learn and develop socially. The environment Ms. tas - then Ms. Lindsay & the wonderful teachers & staff foster is is such a positive one - our children always looked forward to going to school each & every day. Beyond the Montessori curriculum, there is truly an effort to make well-rounded learning both fun & engaging. A quick scroll thru the TMS Facebook, gives you just a glimpse of the learning & fun the children get every day. We always stayed fully informed about our children’s day and could rest assured that they were in good hands. Our children have each completed their time at Tas Montessori well prepared for Elementary, and arguably more advanced than their peers of the same age.

TAS has been a God sent for my family! We love how intimate and wonderful all the teachers are with every student! I feel like I'm leaving my son with family and he has grown and learned so much with them in just a year!

Tas Montessori has been a wonderful school for my children for the past 3 years. Lindsay and the teachers are very intentional about the topics and methods of teaching. We feel extremely safe and happy with our children at Tas Montessori.

We absolutely love Tas. Lindsay and the entire staff are so kind, caring, and patient. My 2 year old loves going to school and really enjoys the different activities they do. The Montessori schooling style has always been something I wanted for my kiddo and I’m so glad we found a place where I can feel good about sending him!

We absolutely loved sending our daughter here for the past two years. She had such amazing teachers that truly cared about her and fostered her learning and independence.

The staff was awesome!!! I was very impressed with effort and dedication the teachers put into working with my child. They truly care about their students and my daughter loves this school.

This is the best Montessori school in the Lubbock area. My daughter has been going there for a year now and it has been amazing. The school is open and offers a true Montessori experience. Most of the other day cares / schools in Lubbock only integrate some of the concepts (hybrid). The teachers are amazing! I don't know what we would do without Ms. Emily and Ms. Alecia. My daughter just started in Ms. Chey's class and she is already starting to get comfortable. She is confident and the teachers really encourage her to be independent and self sufficient. It's truly been a wonderful experience for our whole family. Thank you Ms. Lindsay for being the director and making this place the awesome school it is.

I can’t say enough how much we love Tas Montessori School. Lindsay and all of her teachers demonstrate so much care, love, and energy as they help little ones to grow. They mix fun and education (my four year old is still talking about the baby chicks they watched go from eggs to hatching!) and wrap it up with people who truly care. From our first day at Tas, we have felt confident that it was the best place for our little guy! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to watch their child blossom!
