Prep N' Play Academy

My daughter has been going here for almost 2 years now and she loves it here. I also have a 7 month old who goes there since he was 4month old. I love that I get updates with pix and their routines every single day and the teachers there communicate often with me through an app that we use. From the staff to the teachers, everyone is friendly and caring. The teachers truly love the children who attend school here and you can see it bc when you pick up your children they take 5 extra min just trying to hug all their friends and teachers. I cannot recommend this place enough and feel very safe that my children are in good hands.

Prep n Play academy is an amazing school that nourishes young minds & is truly a home away from home not only for students but for the teachers as well. It’s full of kind hearted teachers that truly care for their students. I can’t recommend it enough!

My son goes here and let me tell ya, they are amazing. The teachers are very detail oriented and work with you and your baby on nap schedules, bottle feedings, and so much more. I love Ms. Waree. And Ms.Jade. They love my baby just as much as I do.

prep n play is a great montessori preschool. it’s so obvious that the teachers genuinely care about the students in their classrooms. if you’re looking for big loving family kind of environment, then prep n play is the school for you!!

‘Prep N Play’ was our son’s first official child care center. I was nervous when I decided to send him to day care/child care at 15 months but ‘Prep N Play’ turned out to be the best starting point for him. The owners, Jeff/Rochelle, are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. My son’s class teacher Ms. Morgan was the BEST! Her communication and updates through the app were spot on. Once my son got used to the place within two weeks of joining, I didn’t have to worry as I knew he was in the best hands possible. We miss Ms. Morgan so much! Thank you Jeff/Rochelle for making this journey easy and smooth for parents and kids!

I completely agree with some of the other reviews. My daughter's main teacher Ms. Christina was great. She cared and when I had a concern she would address it then followed with a change. The rest of this review is an issue with the owner, Rochelle. To sum up she made me feel like my daughter was unsafe and this issue now made my daughter unwelcome to return to class. The issue began when Christina was gone and no one else confirmed my daughter was ready to come back to school after being sent home with a fever (I sent a note via chat letting them know she will be returning the next day). I understood that they needed a Dr.'s note or that we wait a full 24 hours (her fever broke at noon that same day). What I felt was unnecessary and set the rest in motion was when another teacher, Ms.Vanity, felt the need to apologize for the situation and say she saw my message and figured someone else would respond. No one else responded and now I had to make adjustments at work. This made me distrust Prep N Play. If an incident were to occur and Ms. Christina wasn't there, no one would feel the need to help, protect, and ensure my daughter's safety. When I addressed this with Rochelle, she apologized BUT they were just following policy in sending her home. I brought up other issues where communication is not being received by other teachers that sub in and she felt the need to explain to me why that is inaccurate. Rochelle could not understand my fear and left me feeling like my daughter was completely unsafe. After that emotional conversation, Rochelle called back at 6pm and confronted me saying I was rude to her and she is wondering if my daughter would be a good fit for the school. This made me feel that whenever I have a concern, Rochelle is unwilling to address and follow with a change. Her ego is more important to her than my daughter's safety. She has no empathy or sense of understanding. I was in shock that if she was going to make this call she couldn't have waited until the morning. Her lack of professionalism amazes me. I can't expect that only when Ms. Christina is there that she will be safe. The purpose of this review is to remind parents to really get to know the owners, sometimes accidents happen due to their inability to take action. This was a result of a simple issue. I can't imagine how she would handled a larger issue of any kind.

My three children have been with Prep N Play for over 7 years. We moved away for 3 years and could not wait to get back to Leander and re-enroll our children! The owners/directors are some of the kindest, hardworking people we’ve ever met. Our children have always loved the teachers at Prep N Play, and have made some of the fondest memories. The Montessori learning has made such an impact on my children’s development, and the facilities are always organized and clean. We LOVE Prep N Play!

Outstanding child care with the ability to add structure and confidence to each child with individual attention. I have known several students that attend on a daily basis that have showed great social and interactive skills after attending in a short period of time. Love this place.
