Northern Star Montessori

My daughter had a wonderful year at Northern Star. She had always been a very shy child before coming here, however with the really awesome teachers, the nice class settings, relaxing environment, and the child led approach, she really came out of her shell and has made so many good friends. This year she's starting kinder and is doing so well. We will always cherish the time we had at Northern Star!

I quite literally stumbled across this school while checking out the new hardware store nearby. When I called, I didn't realize the school had just opened up, and that if my child joined, she would be among the first few students. Without past reviews to go off of it was a leap of faith; but the tour of the school, Ms. Katrina's calm demeanor, and her responsiveness allowed me to trust and take a chance. I'm so thankful we did. While starting off with just two half days per week, we quickly increased how often our child attends due to just how much she enjoys it. We recently had our first parent/teacher conference, and Ms. Katrina's dedication to ensuring our child loves learning was apparent in all the ways she provided us updates. Rest assured that future parents need not question if this school is the real deal - it's a fantastic example of Montessori education, and your child will be supported, challenged, and cherished there.

I can't say enough good things about Northern Star and the community Ms. Katrina is building through her wonderful school. Our three year old is delighted every morning she gets to go to school and she comes home with a smile on her heart. With Ms. Katrina as their guide, the kids have created such a warm and kind little community, and the parents can't help but follow in kind - we all love seeing each other and can't wait to watch the community continue to grow! Northern Star is truly a safe, joyful, and child-led environment. This is a place where your child (and you!) will be warmly welcomed, respected, heard, seen, and cherished.
