New Leaf Prep Academy

Our kids began at New Leaf Prep Academy when it originally opened and began its first year for the 2021-2022 school year. We have been beyond grateful that we moved them to NLPA and see the difference in them as individuals and also in what and how they are learning. They are in 5th, 3rd, and Kindergarten this year and are absolutely thriving in the learning. Also, there is a beautiful focus on “community” in the studios here. You will see them getting opportunities to learn and practice and build upon life skills. It is common, daily, to see students sweeping, vacuuming, taking the garbage out at the end of the day, helping in the kitchen and with snacks, mopping, and many other valuable skills to ensure they have a solid community feel and know they are part of something bigger. It’s so unique and special. The hands-on, nature-inspired, Montessori style experiences and environment and curriculum has helped our kids make learning strides and connections at their own pace while having a solid grasp of the concepts at the same time. We feel at “home” at New Leaf Prep Academy.

We could not love this school and the staff more. My children are thriving in this learning environment and love going to school. The smaller class sizes, student lead learning and hands on learning are a few things that set this school apart from normal public schools. I am excited to see the future of this school and am so grateful we have this as an option within our community.

Extremely disappoint expirence overall last year. All empty promises from the staff on helping our children advance. BELOW average test scores. They aren't making smarter children here. I have a number of children who went here last year, all of them much prefer the environment and put together teams of teachers in place for special needs, discipline and just overall meeting the actual needs of these students. I wouldnt support this school ever again actually. I strongly urge if you are considering sending your children he re you reconsider.the staff will act like they are going to go above and beyond but everytime Paige and her administrative team fell short .

Best school for my kids. New Leaf is a beautiful school that teaches students multiple different things and lets them go at their own pace. It also teaches them about our gorgeous environment and all the things you need to know about nature. Both of my kids have been attending New Leaf and it has been such a good experience. New Leaf truly has such a positive impact on the students. Thank you for everything!
