Montessori School of Davenport

We are fortunate to have the Montessori school of Davenport in our community. My daughter is attending Montessori School of Davenport for two years. She started Pre-K last year without any prior exposure to school setting or daycare. Mrs. Vindra (The Principal and the owner) had explained me what to expect from new student for a few days and how they will handle about it. My daughter had some challenges for a couple of days as expected and her teacher or Mrs. Vindra had always talked to me about the issue when I picked her up. Mrs. Vindra gave us tips to help as parents too. Within one week, my daughter was visibly improved. We are really thankful for the care and professionalism demonstrated by MSD. Even though the school is impacted by the national crisis of teacher shortage we see Mrs. Vindra is working hard and still delivering more than we expected. It is a joy to see my daughter is happy and progressing academically and socially. Her classmates are nice and lovely. I love seeing them how they greet and say goodbye to each other. We will be sending the younger one soon. Again, thank you very much Mrs. Vindra and MSD for all the things you have done and for making available a Montessori school in our community. Montessori School of Davenport was the best decision I took for my daughter. She loves the school. Ms Vindra is an amazing owner, principal, teacher and a human being. She is sensitive to each and every child`s needs. She makes sure that all the children have a safe and learning environment. She truly cares about the children. Each day is different and my daughter loves the school. Each child is different and each needs a different amount of time to get used to a new environment where there is no parents, so Ms. Vindra and her teachers work very hard every day to make sure that each child feels safe and happy at all times. Everything I ever need to tell her about my daughter is taken seriously and she tries to help me and my daughter with everything we need. She always lets me know how my daughter`s day was and even sometimes sends pictures of her day even though it is very hard having so many children and so many responsibilities. She is truly amazing at her school and treats every child the same loving and caring way.

This school was such a great foundation for my daughter who excelled and continues to excel in her studies. The director is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and works very well with the children. My mind was at ease knowing that my child was excited and proud to go to school. I knew she was in good hands. The school always gave me a briefing if she had a bad day and worked with me to improve my child's experience. That I appreciated. I highly recommend this school and look forward to enrolling my future children.

Awful place where my son was mistreated by the owner, who is also the director, the only teacher and the only staff. So you can imagine how this place is a mess. She was mean to our child then shifted the blame to him (he is 4 !) and us when we called her out. She is very rude, unprofessional and lacks the primary skills of a teacher like empathy, patience and integrity let alone knowledge. No wonder she permanently is short on staff! I hope this review will help parents in the future to avoid the headache and any possible impact on their child. Go for a real school with enough teachers and staff and a responsible owner like we did. At least if an issue happens you have responsible people to talk to!

Worst experience! The owner is by herself, no staff, no teachers whatsoever. She is rude, unprofessional, condescending all you want. Just keep away from there. Even the way she addresses bad reviews is unprofessional. Just stay away folks!

We absolutely love Montessori School of Davenport for our son! He has flourished academically in these last two years, where we find him pacing academically ahead of children in his age group who attend other schools. Ms Vindra really zones in on the child’s development and uses that to push the child further along. I just wish this school was available all the way through high school!

Ever since my son has attended this school he has been coming home with all this knowledge that I did not know a three year could have. I for one know that education is BIG and wanted my son to start early. Rather than investing in a daycare setting, my son was able to attend the new 3 year old montessori program which we are so grateful for. Miss Vindra is extremely kind, nurturing and knows what she is doing. I am so glad that my son attends school here!

My three year old son started Montessori school of Davenport about 3 months ago and the progress that he has made has been astonishing. Being a mother putting your child in care while you work most of the day is a big decision and finding the place that provides safety, learning and just an overall wonderful environment for your child to grow is imperative. I am so glad that I chose this school because Miss VIndra has been an amazing aspect in my son's life and even ours. My son is learning and growing in a great environment and as a parent that is all we could ask for. I would highly recommend this school!
